Since my Toshiba M30 harddisk broke down, I decided to go for an iMac as i had been craving for one for ages!!! As a first timer using Macs, I found the controls and mouse foreign BUT it was really easy to pick it up and I found that it was so easy to open a few programs, switch to multiple views and select which one you wanted to see. ...a fair number of programs such as word, safaris and adium, it took awhile for loading. Also, the graphic is not exactly fantastic for those art users or gamings although it is enough to view movies and meddle around. If speed is of great importance though, you can always just upgrade your ram as you buy the computer because there is only 1 ram slot. I bought this pc as it is quite quite cheap. eventhough it does lack some features when bought, it is easily upgrade-able. This pc isn't just good for internet, word processing etc it is also good for games if fitted with a graphics card. this is what i do with it because i dont want to pay for an expensive gaming pc.
