I would have rather had a Athlon 3000+ XP and it would have still probably been cheaper. The specs are OK but some of them just fall short of that. Having now had this for 18 months I am very pleased with it. It's compact monitor allows me more space nearby to my workstation. It's nimble keyboard allows me the freedom to word process with speed. I have had my Fujitsu Siemens Scenic for about 21/2 years now and have found it to be reliabla and sturdy. I paid only £286.00 - a snip. The only problem I have found is that the modem has needed to be replaced twice but at £19.99 a piece this is no biggy. I have had other problems but they have been relating to viruses etc and nt linked to the make or model of my PC. A great bonus of Fujitsu Siemens as a manufacturuer is that they ae well known ...

I've gotten around this by either shutting my machine down when I'm gone for long periods of time or setting the sleep cycle to never.
