A 'Scenic' PC Anyone?
Review of Fujitsu Siemens SCENIC P300 - P4 2.66 GHz by
IG88
Advantages: Nice Colour Sceme, Would Be A Decent Home PC
Disadvantages: NOT A Gamers PC - 256mb Ram Anyone?, Smalll Hard Drive
First impresions of this PC are, ah.. good, but the case usually plays a large place in the PC we choose. Come on, whose gonna by a pink and orange PC, even if it is the fastest. Cases can be changed but it requires a bit of work and no dought a couple of injuries (insides of case are usually like razor blades. So, let's start on the case.
The case looks nice, a midi tower, and the monitor, keyboard and mouse all fit into the sceme quite well. It ... ...to by them yourselt! They 'aignt included.
Thee only really nice point about this PC is its P4 processor, which the again is only 2.66 ghz. I would have rather had a Athlon 3000+ XP and it would have still probably been cheaper.
The specs are OK but some of them just fall short of that. The PC only uses an IDE setup with no support for Serial-ATA so the hard drive will be sslllloooowwww compared to hard drvies like the Raptor (10000rpm, S-ATA). ...

The Relyable Slow Scenic
Review of Fujitsu Siemens SCENIC xSi - PIII 600 MHz by
jonshannow
Advantages: Hard working
Disadvantages: Slow
For those looking for an informed opinion, let me just give you a little of my background experience with the Scenic. I run a network which has 500 Scenic workstations. The network is spread over three sites and these workstations have rarely been switched off in four years.
Good Points:
The Scenic is robust and hard working. In the four years using the Scenic only 5 have failed. The simple and straight forward architecture makes repair and upgrade ... ...We have the Pentium II 400 and Pentium III 500 versions and all have problems with caching times. This has largely been put down to the low Wattage power supply. Also there have been a high number of functionality problems with the Matrox Graphic Adapters. Overall the Scenic is a relyable computer. If you are looking for a no frills working computer then this computer is ok. However if you are looking for a computer for any graphical work, the Scenic ...

Great budget machine
Review of Fujitsu Siemens SCALEO L - C 2.6 GHz by
alexsonofsparky
Advantages: Good value for money
Disadvantages: can be slow
The Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo L is described as a great entry level PC for home use. It has all of the standard features that you'd expect from a budget PC.
It's main advantages are that it has a decent sized hard drive (80 Gb) and a 16x DVD/CD rewriter.
The main disadvantage is the relatively poor spec software that is included: No MS Office, only Works. No Outlook, only Outlook express. Another thing to be aware of is that the processor is relatively ... ...built in speakers on the Fujitsu Siemens 15" Flat Panel Monitor. On the other hand, what did I expect from such small speakers, and the machine also can with external speakers, although these are a bit bulky.
In summary, if you want a reliable, entry level PC that is suitable for home and home- office use and that is great value for money, go out and buy one today.

A Sturdy Home PC
Review of Fujitsu Siemens SCENIC L - P4 2 GHz by
Charlotte288
Advantages: Hassle free
Disadvantages: Modem Problems
I have had my Fujitsu Siemens Scenic for about 21/2 years now and have found it to be reliabla and sturdy. I paid only £286.00 - a snip.
The only problem I have found is that the modem has needed to be replaced twice but at £19.99 a piece this is no biggy.
I have had other problems but they have been relating to viruses etc and nt linked to the make or model of my PC.
A great bonus of Fujitsu Siemens as a manufacturuer is that they ae well known ... ...to the Fujitsu website and every download I needed were all contained together in one easy step. All I needed to do was log on enter my model and click Downloand - easy as that. My PC is back up and running now good as new.
Highly Recommended Manufacturer ...

Clicking onto the Fujitsu Siemens PC
Review of Fujitsu Siemens SCENIC Edition X102 - Celeron D 330 2.66 GHz by
readalot
Advantages: Flat screen, nimble keyboard, compact and tidy.
Disadvantages: Dvd drive and Cd rom drive too close together
Having now had this for 18 months I am very pleased with it. It's compact monitor allows me more space nearby to my workstation. It's nimble keyboard allows me the freedom to word process with speed. I simply the love the flat screen and would never revert back to the old type screens. The buttons on the screen are easy to use and make perfect sense in what they do. Connection was easy - so easy I got help from my 15 year old son and together we ... ...version) operating system and this I simply love too. The only drawback I have is that the DVD drive and the CD-Rom drive are too close together - when wanting to use both they seem to get in the way when they open - I feel there should be a bigger space between them. But apart from that it's great!!!Quiet noise level - no distractions. Quiet start up and shut down. Good helpline (online) with solutions to many problems. This PC came as an offer ...
