IBM are amazing

Advantages: Amazing Spec for Price

I have know that IBM have been a good reliable make for a while now, but this PC is amazing. The spec that you get for the money is good and in general the PC feels fast, amazing for your day to day tasks, such as word processing and basic picture editing. I personnally use it for programming, and makes light work with VB. With any IBM product this feels study and doesnt look like its going to break with time. I love the monitor. The only downside ... High performance for a budget price

Advantages: Cheap enough to upgrade

Can't go wrong with an HP
Review of HP Compaq Business Desktop dx2000 - Celeron D 330 2.66 GHz by thepcclinic

Advantages: Industry standard, good support, solid
Disadvantages: Doesn't like non-hp parts, develops noise

...the Celeron version and £400ish for the Pentium 4 version (I'd go with the P4). Support is very good from HP. When buying one from an HP Authorised dealer you will get a years onsite warrantee. Overall, this is a good PC and you won't have many problems. ... Read review
