Advantages: very small size, affordable, space saving an easy to assemble
Disadvantages: is not upgradable in performance

Apple mac mini is not a laptop. It is more for home use which makes it more like desktop. Apple Mac Mini is great----- why? Price is not to much and is worth more than you pay. when you buy a mac you have to make sure your own needs. Because it different than windows. Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Edition P2511
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Edition P2511 - Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8 GHz by gdogga

Advantages: good look, relatively cheap, dvd burner, 160gb hdd
Disadvantages: not enough RAM, processor isnt that good

I have this computer at home. its a great piece of machinery, although its a tad slow and i had the RAM double to now leave me with 2gb, i find that this processor, compared to that of the one in my office is slow. but for the price, this personal desktop computer is a bargain, it has great features, including a dvd burner, and a relatively large hard drive. the overall look of the computer is amazing, it looks like its worth a lot more money. building ... DC7700 - Cheap and Cheerful
Review of HP Compaq Business Desktop dc7700 - Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13 GHz by Scarraban

Advantages: Plenty of USBs, runs basic applications.
Disadvantages: Lacks the power for today's games.

...files. When looking at HP customer service, compared to other manufacturers, they are quite reliable. Most drivers are easy to locate, and any other issues are usually quickly resolved by a simple phone call. In conclusion, this PC is perfect for a man who likes to get his work done, but if graphics and gaming are what you are looking for, pushing the boat out and buying a better PC would be advisable. ... Great introduction to Mac OS / Home Theater PC
Review of Apple Mac mini Core 2 Duo 1.83 GHz by alphamusic

Advantages: Price, performance, design, OSX 10.5, Windows with Bootcamp, HTPC, remote controll
Disadvantages: Limited upgradability

I recently upgrade from a 1.5Ghz G4 stealth upgrade Mac Mini to the Core 2 Duo 1.83 Ghz mini and I am very impressed with the performance improvements. With Xbench the Core 2 Duo was approximately twice as fast as the G4 on many tests. The Mac Mini has a very small form factor 6.5"x6.5"x2" which makes it well suited as a Home Theater PC (HTPC) or for desktop use where space is at a premium. I primarily use the mini as an everyday computer with some ...
...desk and under a TV. The Mac Mini is an excellent entry level computer or an introduction to Macs. This is not to say the computer is limited in capabilities. The only real limitation over the mini's bigger brothers, the iMac and Mac Pro is the fact that it's expandability is more restricted. The stock laptop hard drive is slower than desktop sized hard drives, and the graphics card is integrated meaning gaming performance suffers. Realizing these ... Read review

My dream mini
Review of Apple Mac mini Core Duo 1.66 GHz by screwcap

Advantages: Speed, looks, size, silence, availability of applications.
Disadvantages: None (except the keyboard and mouse, but you don't have to buy them).

...years ago. I used the Apple educational online store, with free delivery and really good telephone customer service (although it takes a while for the phone to be answered). Being used to regular blue screens of death, to the system slowing down to a halt almost everytime I had more than 3 or 4 applications running, or if I watched a couple of videos on You Tube, to not being able to watch DVDs for fear of crashing the system and all that, it's ...
...the Might Mouse and the Apple keyboard to go with it. I only did because the Apple store in Regent St was the most convenient to reach at the time I realised I couldn't use my old mouse and keyboard (not USB), but I really regret spending that sort of money (about £50 for both of them) for something that you can't take apart nor clean. The mouse has already lost some of its functionality after only 4 months of use, possibly due to dust gathered from ... Read review
