Advantages: Good configuration options, Windows XP, quiet and fast
Disadvantages: Looks are not going to win places on many desks

Earlier this year I bought five of these for a customer. It must be said that the money was not spent on visual styling. They are not the best looking machine but they are a good package in terms of performance and value if you shop around. They are very quiet and easy to configure. ...then have to buy an XP licence? It was best to get around the rather basic and uninspiring design by standing the base unit under the desk on its edge rather like a slim tower. The PC was well specified with 1 GB of RAM and this worked very well with the chosen operating system, Windows XP. It also came with a DVD burner which offered good performance. Advantages: Amazing Spec for Price
Disadvantages: not the best looker

I have know that IBM have been a good reliable make for a while now, but this PC is amazing. The spec that you get for the money is good and in general the PC feels fast, amazing for your day to day tasks, such as word processing and basic picture editing. I personnally use it for programming, and makes light work with VB. With any IBM product this feels study and doesnt look like its going to break with time. I love the monitor. The only downside ... This Fujitsu computer was not that well know to us when we went looking for 2 computers. We had at the time tried to price up the components for a build and when we added the cost of Windows Xp x 2 it was a lot more, £300 more at the time, so we had to buy. ...us about these Brand new Fujitsu Scaleo 600 systems theat had to go because of a shop re-fit. They were at rock bottom prices and within our budget. We purchased 2 FS P4 computers with 80 GB drives 2.53 CPU's and ATI graphic cards for £998 all in but without any other warranty. That was in 2003. Advantages: The price,it,s fantastic value
Disadvantages: Noisy hard drive

I brought this from comet just before christmas 06. Advantages: Inexpensive, stylish looks, easily upgradeable
Disadvantages: Rubbish speakers, could have more RAM

...and word processing on the Acer machine. Not long after I got it, I did upgrade the RAM, but that's easy and cheap to put another 1GB in yourself from eBay, only costs around £40. I also upgraded the video card for around £100, but then you've got a good processor, high enough RAM to run Windows Vista and good games and also a good graphics card to be able to play games at higher resolutions, but still the computer and the upgrades is a lot less ...
...good brand and have been getting better over the years and they do built inexpensive, but good quality machines. My Aspire T120e did me very good for a number of years and is still going strong with someone else. The only bad point is the rubbish speakers (although nicely powered by USB so no need for an extra power socket) mine never worked out of the box, but I wouldn't use them anyway cos they don't have much power.
