This allows you to restore the whole system to its original "out of the box" state in something like 30 minutes (remember to back up your data first) which will be a godsend for those of us in a habit of overloading their systems to the point that a fresh install is required. ...the purchase - Comet or IBM - I did have to have my printer replaced a Xerox xj6 with a cannon BJC2100 but that could be another op somewhere else sometime. The IBM PC 300GL was origionaly made for the business sector. The higher spec machine similar to the 300GL was the 300PL which some had AGP graphics and LAN comunications support. This was the lower spec of the two machines but still there wasn't alot of difference. If you wanted to have better graphics or LAN support you could fit a PCI graphics card or an extra LAN card. Many motherboards of this spec had at least 4 PCI slots and for this machine ...
...look on the Intel / IBM website for a motherboard manual. Another thing was that missing AGP slot. I couldn't play the games i wanted. The better spec 300PL had the AGP slot and a better graphics card could boost my gaming performance.
