iXtreme Value
Review of Packard Bell iextreme 6060 by Dave_J_D

Advantages: Good looks & performance, TFT screen, Very quiet, reliability
Disadvantages: Relatively little memory as supplied, cheap mouse

...it's much smoother. So far it's been rock solid (Touches wood as writes that!) So from now on I'm sticking to 'band Name' PC's - Packard Bell most likely. A bit more expensive, but it pays in reliability, and a VERY helpful user forum at www.packardbell.co.uk ... Read review

Review of Packard Bell iMedia 4608 by matthew2007

Advantages: Sounds are very nice
Disadvantages: The harddrive is too small, Not enough RAM or Graphics Memory

...+ into their PC systems, Packard Bell gave me a 850 MhZ that couldnt keep up with the first PC Made! When I turned the PC on, I had to go away for about 10 minuted to let the thing load up fully to be used. You cannot fit a lot onto 20GB on a PC thats supposed to be for Media. Anyone knows that a movie takes up around 700MB - 1GB of space and if you want to store your DVD's on your PC you can only fit about 15 onto 20GB as you need space for other ...
...to replace it. Packard Bell make reliable PC's, they just dont put the relevant things into them. They need to try harder on new PC's to get them up to the standards! They should plan ahead, 300-500GB HDD's should now be put into PC's to cope with the new developments. ... Read review

THIS PACKARD`S A BELLE
Review of Packard Bell iMedia 3051 by stuleg

Advantages: Cheap Cheap Cheap
Disadvantages: Hard-disk on the smallish side

...pounds. This is where the Packard Bell 3051 iMedia comes in; a friend of mine was looking for a new PC and despite my protestations had decided that PC World was the shop to get his custom. A look around the various models on display unearthed what seemed to be a veritable bargain - the above mentioned system for just £310. Some questioning of a shop assistant revealed that this price did not include a monitor but since the friend in question had ...

HP COMPAQ.
Review of HP Compaq Business Desktop dc5800 - Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHz by oki82

Advantages: PERFORMS WELL
Disadvantages: COSTLY.

The hp Compaq stunned my mind when I heard its ability to deliver proven technology. I have some influence on deciding on which type of computer hardware or software to purchase in office. The PC device comes with dual core technology type and the dual core simply means that the PC is capable of having more than one processor and it has advantages over those PCs that have only one processor because it is quite faster and can process numerous in ...
...use for my office work. HP has proven their competence on making computer hard wares including printers that I regard one of the best in the market currently. Well getting this in my household would cost me quite some money because this is an office use. Since I am now in need of such PC, I think of making savings for it. Its company manual description is detailed very well and quite easy to understand and use. From what I have read from the manual, ... Read review

Brilliant little fun computer
Review of Apple Mac mini Core Duo 1.83 GHz by LucyB76

Advantages: No bugs, major crashes, fast and loads of fun!
Disadvantages: Can't think of any....

I was absolutely blown away by this little computer! My partner, who is a graphic designer, bought this to replace the PC we had and as soon as I got on it I was away! It is so user friendly and easy to navigate. I have learned so much through just using and I don't get irritated by it because it hardly ever crashes. When it does 'crash' or 'freeze up' it's very easy to rectify as you just click 'force quit' and it solves the problem! Brilliant! ...
...to get it working again! Yay! There is also some really fun software already on it like the IMovies and IDVD that you can create your own little movies with photographs with music and effects. It's really good fun and that's the key to this little Mac, it's fun to use whatever you're doing! ... Read review
