Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Edition P2511
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Edition P2511 - Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8 GHz by
gdogga
Advantages: good look, relatively cheap, dvd burner, 160gb hdd
Disadvantages: not enough RAM, processor isnt that good
I have this computer at home. its a great piece of machinery, although its a tad slow and i had the RAM double to now leave me with 2gb, i find that this processor, compared to that of the one in my office is slow. but for the price, this personal desktop computer is a bargain, it has great features, including a dvd burner, and a relatively large hard drive. the overall look of the computer is amazing, it looks like its worth a lot more money. building ...

Why Compaq and Vista is like Bush and Power
Review of Compaq Presario sr5059 by
Marana
Advantages: Fast Processor, Graphics are A-frigging-mazing, sound quality is awezum!
Disadvantages: Vista is hell if you are using a Compaq computer, Takes time to downgrade!
You see the blue screen of death more than the login screen, and the computer won't play discs unless certified by Microsoft Game Companies and a man can only live off Zoo Tycoon and Halo for so long!So it has come to this, you have to downgrade from vista with your trusty XP disc. You put it in and woah, no blue screen, that's a surprise. Click the D drive and the setup begins but you can't click on the downgrade button. Saddened , you take out ... ...to whir. It ejects half a minute after the ominous whirring stops and the disc is scratched two death!! THIS COMPUTER HAS A MIND OF IT'S OWN....CALL ISAAC ASIMOV...CALL WILL SMITH!!!!
It has come to this and there is no way to avoid it. You have to take it apart. It takes three days, an old 15gb Windows 98 hard drive that you found in your closet and more electrocutions than you can count (or can remember). After you successfully, downgrade it ...

Small is Good
Review of HP Pavilion Slimline s7715.uk - Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2 GHz by
Gernella
Advantages: Looks good, quiet, got sufficient USB ports, plenty of space and software
Disadvantages: Wouldn't suit gamers, not designed to poke inside or add drives etc
Small form, ideal for a second pc or first time user as all software is loaded already. Fires up quickly, apart from a slight hum you wouldn't know it was there. No good if you like poking about and adding bits and pieces although you can upgrade the ram quite easily. Looks quite neat sat in the corner of my lounge with a small 15" screen. About the size of a extra fat laptop. I use picture editing quite a lot and have no problems at all with speed. ... ...there. Although it runs Vista basic I can still do automatic backups with the windows software. If you are new to computers there is no need to buy extra software as it is all included although no discs (your first job is to create a backup disc although there is a recovery drive you can use). I've had it about six weeks now and I am highly delighted for such a small price. ...
