Review of Dell Dimension E520 by
Gatlus
Advantages: Well ventilated, easy to work on, has pci-express
Disadvantages: To much crap installed on initial boot, inadequate power supply.
I was strapped for cash but needed a newer system so after some searching and weighing other systems I chose the E520, I opted for the 2.8 ghz Pentium D since the new core duo's only cost more than anything. Once I got it i threw in a new video card. Here was the only problem i ran into with the whole system. There was only a 305 watt power supply, yeah 305, not 350. The thing is it has pretty good ventilation and space internally so I'm going to ...

My Dell Dimension
Review of Dell Dimension XPS 700 by
mackaltman
Advantages: no crashing, fast, reliable
Disadvantages: bulky as far as storing the harddrive
...say after I purchase my Dell Dimension I was extremely excited, not only because I had purchased a new computer but because of the quality of computer I received as well. In today's world, it is a necessity to have a computer, and needless to say that is what we all have a problem finding, a computer that suits all those needs, not just some of them. I have definitely found one. Since my purchase, I haven't had any problems at all. I would recommend ...

MESH matrix premier PC package bundle
Review of MESH Matrix Premier by
alanbishop
Advantages: A good all round PC and a great little media package to boot
Disadvantages: The newer versions have a MUCH higher spec for cheaper! My PC no problems with it
Award winning PC's. I have had this PC now for well over 1 year. It services my home and business needs and I do require a fast PC for continuous refreshing of financial markets, usually several applications at once. On the odd occassion I use for gaming (though rare) but it does not present a problem even with relatively new games. However, I certainly would not recommend to a serious gamer (but I seriously doubt hard core gamers would be looking ... ...towards mainly the family as it is a media edition. The media edition itself is actually good. Offers many versitile packages in one (though I do recommend upgrading) Its basic packages will do exactly what it says and I believe is designed to be a complete media system though I do not think it will replace the TV (even though it does have a TV card supplied).
It has a decent specification.

HP Media Centre set to explode!
Review of HP Media Center m7081.uk Photosmart PC - P4 540 3.2 GHz by
Aelred2k6
Advantages: High Spec and a Few Hidden Extras
Disadvantages: Doesn't Really Look Like a Media Centre
Ok, so my title is a bit OTT, but there isn't much this PC cannot do, add an integrated toaster and it would be perfect. Even though I have had the PC for about a year I'm new to Ciao so I thought I better write a review for thing that brought me and Ciao together.
~*~Cosmetics~*~
To look at the M7081 looks like every other home PC. I'm not going to tell how it doesn't… because it does. The familiar tower structure is fairly plain ... ...of the case, the connectivity panel is well hidden by one of the two sliding doors on the front, what's behind the other will come later on. The look of the PC is more suited to bedroom rather than at the heart of the home as the name "Media Centre" suggests, the two tone chrome effect works well the blue light that emits from the power button and other crevasses. I am in no way trying to imply that this PC is ugly but you could find more attractive ...

small and powerfull
Review of Dell Dimension XPS 210 by
stuartuk35
Advantages: small and compact
Disadvantages: not much room inside
I have used this pc on many occasions and to be honest what it lacks in size makes up with power
Tthe duel core proccessor along with the 1 gig of ddr2 ram gives it speed and stability along with a 320 gb sata hard drive which means theres lots of storage space to save games pics data and music without worrrying.
It also boasts a very swift dvd re writer that does both +/- dvds
for data, movies, picture and audio discs.
The small but powerfull ... ...which is 12.4 inches high, 3.7 inches wide, and 14.4 inches deep although the colour scheme may put some people off.
Upgrading or adding to the pc is a problem as for the size leaves little room inside for aditional items with only 1x16x pci express slot and 1xpci slot although it does boast 7 usb2 slots 5 on the rear two on the front.
This pc also comes with xp media edition meaning all of your pics, movies and music is kept for easy access using ...
