Advantages: A cheap, very good buy
Disadvantages: only 1GB RAM
a great fast and cheap pc. Purchased this recently for a low £350 and completly blew me away as this is much faster than previous. Installation was easy and very short. Its dual core with 1.86Ghz each can cope with many programs open at once, and its ATI graphics card can support some very powerful games. This is one reason i purchased this. Its great value as well for people wishing for a new pc without a moniter.

The manufacterer is packard bell.
With the computer comes a little like remote control with a touch pad.
The Negatives.
The is one major problem there is no floppy drive so you cannot wipe the computer and I bet (if you are a computer genius) your shouting get an external floppy drive..I've tried it and the BIOS does not recognise it. Apart from that there is no other major problem with the computer. You can easily upgrade to Windows ...
...you need to ring up Packard Bell and ask for the "master cd's" they will send you some cd's but the call charge is 75p* a min. That is on a BT standard line.
The computer has a sound card built in and some speakers right across the front of the monitor. It is not very easy to open up and it is very very hard to get an exact motherboard.
If you brake the keyboard or mouse belive me it is hard trying to ring up and get a new one so my advise is don't ...

The keyboard is a Packard Bell Activboard which has buttons for quick access to things like the Packard bell website. I did have problems with the drivers for the keyboard and I never used any of the buttons as they are at the back and on the keyboard tray that means they are unreachable. The mouse is a Packard bell 3 button mouse, but it is not optical, this is not the best mouse although it does work as well as any other ball mouse.

I upgraded to XP Home as soon as possible as ME was way too unstable. I bought it with an extended warranty which was worth it as it needed a motherboard and modem replacement.
