Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT
Review of Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT by
ReviewIt01
Advantages: graphics, sound, stability
Disadvantages: ..... none
The Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT is a very good computer, is the graphics and sound systems are second to none, and the fast quiet fan system is no match for any sound proof desktop computer bought from the shelves.
The knew iMac has a very wide range of abilities, including running a windows system aswell as it's very own Mac oporating platform.
The easy to use tutorials and navagation system on the iMac are very good for people that ...

Dream Dell
Review of Dell OptiPlex 740 by
Jar_Dude
Advantages: Very organized.
Disadvantages: Pricy.
The Dell OptiPlex is a very unique machine, manufactured very well. There are several types of OptiPlex, Ultraslim, Slim, Mini-Tower, and the Standard size. The way these machines were made makes it easy to upgrade, use, and is extremely user friendly. There are a wide selection of monitors available from your standard monitor, to a widescreen LCD. You can customize the keyboard and mouse, operating system, such as Vista, Vista Ultimate, and Vista ...

Dell Dimension E520
Review of Dell Dimension E520 by
johanni333
Advantages: Customise your own system
Disadvantages: Better instructions for Vista
The thing I like about Dell is that you can customise your computer to your own requirements, for example adding a DVD Re writer media card, etc, etc. I've had little trouble with mine (touch wood!). The only problem I had was upgrading to Windows Vista. I was left with minimal instructions and actually found the system slower, until I got down to using it on a daily basis. At one point I considered reverting to XP, but thought I would stick with ... ...my own music. A Dell technician was supposed to call and explain how to speed the system up but never did, presumably whilst they were getting the Dell support center up and running, better than having to ring India and spent two hours talking to support when my Dell laptop caught a Greek virus and packed up! On the plus side, plenty of options for either home or business, good with a back up drive and with Windows Vista reminding you every 30 days ...

The Bees -Knees
Review of Sony VAIO M1 - Mobile Pentium 4 3.06 GHz - 15.4" by
sghawken
Advantages: More than just a PC
Disadvantages: The screen could be a little bigger
...different. To describe the Sony M-1 is kind of difficult it has an LCD screen that is fixed to the base unit; also attached to that base unit is a flop down keyboard, two very good speakers and a sub woofer. Fold the keyboard flat against the screen and you have a unit roughly 1 and ½ foot long by 7 inches deep.
When I first switched the PC on it went through the usual set up format that you go through with any windows operated PC. Once installed, ... ...screen, its fitted with the Sony X BLACK style screen, this makes dark colours look amazing, in fact everything looks great on it. The room that I have my PC in is frequently filled with sunlight and the screen seldom gets to the stage that I cannot see it.
The mouse is an optical one, so I can run it across almost anything. It responds a lot better than a standard mouse, a subject of consistent annoyance to me. Yes two years on and the mouse is ...

Dell E521: Powerhouse performance for pennies
Review of Dell Dimension E521 by
radiusone
Advantages: Speed, Value for Money
Disadvantages: Dell's Pricing Lottery,
...money as with all of Dell Products, and is easily upgradable with a simple click open case. I have had trouble with my Dimension however, it sometimes will not start up, and I have to press the power button several times until the PC does anything. This is due to a mild graphics card boot up fault and is currently being fixed. Once up and running however the E521 comes into a class of its own, it is unrivalled in terms of its speed versus value for ...
