This product can be easily found in most supermarkets, and it costs £1.37 for a 300ml can in Tesco, but it is currently on a half price offer so you can pick one up for 68p.

It can also be used on surfaces to kill bacteria, but it's not to be used on food preparation surfaces, fabrics, or polished surfaces.
Personally I can't stand the smell of most air fresheners, so the idea of a product that will get rid of the smells without leaving my home smelling of flowers, lemons or vanilla really appealed to me. To use it you just shake the can well, hold it upright and spray it lightly in the centre of the room or directed at problem areas. If you want to use it on surfaces you need to hold it 15 - 20cm away from the surface and spray in a mist over the surface, then allow it to air dry.
The product, as you would expect, is really easy to use. The aerosol can gives you a nice steady stream of the odour eliminator so it's easy to direct it where you want in a room, or create a mist over surfaces. The smell at first is quite strange, it reminds me a little of chlorine and certain bathroom cleaning products, but this soon dissipates leaving the room just smelling clean and fresh, and after a while you don't even notice any smell.
I've used this all over, in the bathroom, in the kitchen, even in the kitchen bin when it's started to smell, and also around areas where my cats eat and sleep, and it is effective every time, getting rid of unwanted smells, but without choking anyone in the vicinity or making my house smell of some vile fragrance or other. I now always keep a can of this handy in practically every room in the house!

Dettol is a familiar name in the hygeine market so when I first tried this spray I was confident it would do what it promised. The scent I always opt for is Fresh Waters as I think the name suggests a not too overpowering scent.

PACKAGING
The air freshener comes in two different fragrances, Pure air and Fresh waters. The general packaging is ... ...except with the fresh waters one there is a general blue colour scheme, with clouds, but with the fresh waters one there is a green secenery scheme.
USEAGE
Shake and spray! As simple as that! Extremely flammable as is the warning says on the package, it claims to 'eliminate odours caused by bacteria'. Allow 10 minutes to air dry.

...for a spray can of Dettol Neutra air. Not only is it of a very pleasing smell (Fresh Waters, which smells rather like you might imagine fresh waters to smell, if Dettol made them, if you can see what I mean!) that does help to not only neutralise foul odours, but also replace them with a rather pleasant smell.
Dettol Neutra Air also helps by eliminating the odours that are caused by bacteria. Not only does Dettol Neutra Air help to replace nasty ... ...There are some caveats that Dettol offer regarding the use of Dettol Neutra Air, many of which are just plain old fashioned common sense. For example, you must never spray Dettol Neutra Air directly on to food or on food preparation surfaces, fabrics or polished surfaces. And you should never spray it directly on to any pet.

I bought the Dettol Neutra Air Treatment spray in the citrus scent as it was on offer at my local Teso at £1.20 and Dettol is a brand that I had heard of and trusted. The bottle is an aerosol and the spray is pretty forceful. I applied it to all rooms of the house, and the air did appear to neutralise slightly, and, eventually you could walk into the room and it smelt of lemon. Now, I'm not a fan of air freshners as I believe that they generally ... ...being Dettol, I believed that this would go someway to killing the germs too and actually freshening the air. It seemed to me that this was how the product worked.
More recently, I have used this product on surfaces that can be potentially covered in germs (and not smell too pleasant!) such as kitchen bin lids. Not only does it make the room smell fresh but it is antibacterial (bottle states it kills 99.9% of all known bacteris) so I feel reassured ...

Advantages: smells great and works! Disadvantages: bit bulky
This was on offer in Tescos so I added it to my weekly shop.
I wasn't expecting it to work to be honest.
I try everything to rid my outhouse of the cat smell it gets in the summer!
We have 4 cats and their cat trays are kept in the outhouse so can get a little wiffy sometimes, they all seem to want to greet me when I walk in by doing a poo! lol
They are cleaned everyday but still get smelly.

I ... ...It is so easy to use.
It has instructions with it but basically you put the airfreshner in it and choose what setting to have it on.. I chose it to come on once every 9 minutes.
I put it right next to the cat trays and left it to work.
I can really tell the difference now when I walk in.
It's no way over powering, inface I can't smell much, whihc is what I was aiming for. No face purfume smells and no kitty poo smells! lol It just smells clean ...
