For those of you whom have never played a DMC game before, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! I can say for certain that this is the best in the series, the combat system is very deep and no other game comes close, but at the same time it is accessible to new comers. You play as two characters NERO and DANTE, both have unique combats skills and techniques you must master. Skills for these characters can be brought in the game this adds a nice strategy in building your character to suit your type of play. The game is beautiful to play, at certain points you will be presented will stunning visuals. The game contains 20 missions and lots of boss fights, on easy mode the game will take about 15hours to complete, and after that there are 3 harder difficulties to try out.
Their is only one complaint I have about this game, it concerns certain camera angles. In all the DMC games the camera is fixed and the player is unable to control it, most of the time it does not affect gameplay but occasionally you can aspect to jump the wrong way. Fortunately it rarely happens and I am being very picky, but I have got to mention it.
Compared to the Xbox 360 version of this game, the loading times for all missions is considerably faster. Although I must warn you that before you can play the game DMC4 you will have to wait a good 30 minutes for it to install on your PS3. But after that initial installation the game runs perfectly I've had my copy since release date and I've had no problems what so ever. The first time you play DMC4 you will notice the cut scenes, I cant emphasis enough how good they are. Firstly the graphics are top notch it really feels like capcom have tried to use all the PS3s power in producing them.
DMC4 is just a single player game, there is no online multiplayer. So it's a good job the single player is excellent. I can highly recommend this game to all PS3 owners, for me this game is a must buy.
