the director of Resident Evil 2, have teamed up once again with Devil May Cry . This time, the duo has created a fast-paced game that's one of the best translations of classic 2-D action in a 3-D world. 2000 years ago the Devil Emperor threatened to conquer humanity, but was stopped by a benign devil knight. The emperor was imprisoned, but now threatens to escape. It's up to the knight's half-breed son, Dante, to follow in his father's footsteps and defeat the Devil Emperor once again. In addition to being a fine swordsman, Dante is equally adept with guns. In the first half of the game, players slash and shoot their way through. After acquiring a different weapon, the focus changes to close combat. Weapons can be upgraded and new attacks can be learned, adding to the game's variety. As a whole, the action is immense and flows smoothly. A few things impede it though. During fights with bosses and multiple enemies, the fixed camera angles can get frustrating. The in-game text also scrolls painfully slowly. Graphically, this is one of the best-looking games Capcom has ever published, and that's saying something considering its impressive visuals in Resident Evil. The hard-rock styled music is nothing to write home about, though. The voice acting is strong, but there's not much of it, which is a shame since the interesting setting would have made for some great storytelling. However, the focus here is fast and furious action, and this game elevates it to an art form. --Raymond M Padilla, Amazon.com

Advantages: true to the console experience Disadvantages: somewhat choppy graphics at intense moments.
Fans of Devil May Cry who have played it on the consoles can swear up and down that the PC version is a watered down, crappier looking version to cater to a dying market.
Though they would not be totally wrong, they would not be totally right either. The graphics of the game DO suffer a bit, there are a few blurry moments, some alias issues here and there but you're looking at the same game pretty much.
The only thing which makes me wish it hadn't ... ...playing this game is going to give you carpal tunnel syndrome. And fast.
The sound is true to it's console brethren, crisp and clear, the story hasn't changed. Dante is still kicking ass as we all expect him to.
A good take though in my opinion somewhat unnecessary. Gaming on the PC is a slowing market, I would be surprised to see the trend of bringing future DMC games showing up here. ...

In Devil May Cry games you play as Dante who carrys around deadly devil sword and guns ,Dante, is a dark anti-hero.
Devil May Cry is an action game for most but there is some puzzles to do along the way . The story is well done and will last a while
The graphics are good ,great game play ,better experience using a gamepad than using a keyboard for Devil May Cry

Advantages: Graphics stunning, arcade gameplay, skill building element Disadvantages: puzzles not very challenging
...I buy Devilmaycry 4 as part of a deal from game store.. Was 2 games for 30 GBP or 1 for 20, and since i was already buying one game, for extra 10GBP i buy devilmaycry for xbox 360 as sadly pc version i could not play since my graphic card don't meet the minimum requirement.
It is the collectors edition but i there is nothing more special and dont think anything extra you get, apart from a nicer looking tin type case haha. and 'art of the devil' book
I not regretted the purchase, easy to control, a game more suitable for gamepad then keyboard and mouse
The graphics is awesome, with an anime approach.. Cut scenes impressive.. The close-up shots of breasts and inner thighs will have any 15-year-old heading for 10 minutes to the bathroom...haha
The power moves and sword fights fun and not difficult, bosses are more...
