The whole set up takes about 2 mins, you simply plug your pc in one unit and the internet modem/router in to the other unit, plug them into the mains and thats it,it works! One big surprise was that you do NOT need to plug into a direct socket, and extention cable and even a muti point ... ...much, a little loss of speed and the very rare chance of a gap in reception. This product can be a god send, if you are not great at setting up computer add ons then this is for you or ,if like me, you have what looks like an impossible connection problem (my desk top has to be wired and is a long way from the internet router) this product solves the problem in an instant.
