Well, you can call me a geek, anorak or nerd but I don`t mind admitting that I am mad about maps!
Before a visit, during a visit or after a visit, you can find me absorbed in these multi-coloured sheets of paper, studying and reading them like a book. Although I have thousands already, I always welcome one brought home for me from someone`s holiday or trip and if I`m going myself, the first item on my list is always…MAPS!
So call me an anorak then!
Almost every house will have maps of some description, be they Ordnance Survey , Michelin, Collins or A-Z. Most of us that travel a lot by car will have lots of them, stuffed into glove or door pockets or maybe just chucked carelessly onto the back seat. Whatever the publishers, at some time or another they are indispensable.

on the street with a huge and difficult to use map, annoying the locals in a way only tourists can do.
At only £4.25 this is the best value purchase I have ever made. Brought from WHSMITHS or most newsagents, airports and stations.

I was amazed when I discovered that this company had infact been running since 1936 at which time it had just 2 employees.
Founded by Mrs Phylis Pearsall she stuck with this company until she died in August 1996.
Their original offices in Grays Inn road just a 15 minute bus ride from me near kings cross and holborn.

Been set this challenge by others to do, though I belief that my answers are not what they will expect partly because they are not one word answers! So here I go the A-Z of me!!
A- Apprehension ( although many people who know me will think that im always outgoing, happy and not fazed by many things! But truth be told I am, im apprehensive when I have to try and do new things, entering situations im not sure of! A small example of this would be I could never and would never enter a pub alone)
B- Beauty (im am not obsessed by this, though I find it amazing what people will Go through to achieve what they perceive as true beauty! Also I always wonder About people that say that the attractiveness of people is not what draws them
