The scan range (resolution) is anything between 50 and 4800 DPI which I'm sure for anyone is more than enough, besides which the high end resolutions would take enormous amounts of memory and super powerful computers to ... ...is ideal and will work easily with other hardware on a direct link, IE printers etc. It comes complete with easy to install, easy to use software and has been proven to be good value and quality just by marketing so well for so long.
