Like its predecessors, the Flybook VM has a display that is capable of being positioned upward like a desktop LCD monitor. On the inside, you'll find a 1.66GHz low-voltage Intel Core Duo processor, 512MB of RAM, 30GB HDD, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, and stereo speakers. Plus, it has an integrated VGA webcam for easy video conferencing. It measures 29.2 x 22.2 x 2.6cm and weighs just 3.6-pounds.
...Every so often something unusual but brilliant comes along, from a company you've never previously heard of, but you want to know more about. The DialogueFlybook is a prime example, I fell in love with it from the beginning.
I bought my Flybook (in blue) about a year ago and have been very happy with it. To be honest, I was actually helping my friend buy a laptop, but saw this and had to get one for myself too.
It's small, it comes in many different colours, it's highly functional with lots of connectivity options such as wifi, bluetooth, and a gprs SIM slot so you can even make calls on it or surf the internet using your SIM! It also has 3G.
This is a light (1.2kg), ultraportable little device. It's got a small, bright tablet screen that also comes with a stylus so you can tap the screen instead of using the touchpad. The stylus...

Advantages: Too many to list!! Disadvantages: Only has 802.11b
...I've been on the hunt for a notebook for ages, and specifically a notebook as I really don't want to lug a huge laptop with 16"+ screen to university, I have been using an old 233Mhz laptop, which although I very small (only 1" bigger than the flybook) it is getting way to slow for my liking. Also I have been looking for a convertible, so one that can act like a laptop and as a tablet. I really like this idea for when reading books on the computer, seems so much nicer been able to hold an 'e-book' rather than being fixed in front of your desktop PC.
There have been two main notebook convertibles I have looked at in the past which you may also be interested in

Advantages: On board sound and video Disadvantages: Video possibly unsuitable for gaming
...I have been very pleased with this motherboard, which came with my new 'barebones' computer running Windows XP SP2. It shows good pace, both when starting up and running, far better than my old machine. The sound (via my 2.1 speakers) is excellent and the video performance when playing DVDs or viewing digital photos leaves nothing to criticise. I don't play computer games so my requirements for video are not the most demanding.
Later products are the 7VM400M-RZ which uses the Via KM400 chipset for onboard VGA and, later still the 7VM400AM in which the maximum bus speed is increased from 333 to 400 MHz. Both of these have the same Micro ATX form factor.
Overall, an excellent performance for the price....

good:
price, if compared to other available mobos having the 478 socket (which seems to be outdated nowadays).
not-so-good:
** had to buy a new VGA card, DirectX drivers for built-in VGA turned out to be buggy (computer halted on black screen).... more
A good quality screen reasonably priced. It has integral stereo speakers but these are a bit tinny sounding. The footprint of the base is small so it doesnt take alot of room up on the desk.
The colour of the frame of the screen is silver so will fit in more
