bringing together two earlier collections of the adventures of Diane DiMassa's popular independent comic. Join coffee-addicted lesbian terrorist Hothead Paisan on her restful vacation in Provincetown, and learn how she deals with gawking straight couples. Watch her surgical assault on scary male doctors. Admire her preventive treatment of rapists. Hothead Paisan goes where the rest of us only dream of going: "Sentenced to life in a rich white banker's scrotal sack," she takes revenge on the gapers and gropers of the city streets, offering her potent "Blow-You-Away Job" in the form of grenade, gun, and Lysol attacks. But she has a softer side, too, as shown in her devotion to her cat, Chicken, and her wise old grandmother. Not for the faint at heart or the satire-challenged. --Regina Marler, Amazon.com

Advantages: lovely lesbians, shelly-esque passion on an island paradise Disadvantages: THERE ARE LITERALY NONE!
....
In one chapter of the novel the failing of a disasterous butch/femme relationship is chronicled, truly beautiful is the poetic description of how this relationship is able to survive confinement and prison life yet not the cruel prejudices of those on the island who revile the notion of a butch and a femme becomeing lovers.
DiMassa brings to life these lesbians, sapphic imagery pumps through this novel, like a pulsing enomrmous lady tigress, emphasising the beauty of women on women relationships and also providing a valuable moral lesson about prejudice and sterotype. A butch a day is the motto of this novella.....A butch indeed for ALL seasons!!...

Advantages: easy to read Disadvantages: hard to put down made me late for work!!
...This is the second book written by Paul Burrell about his life as a butler for Diane the Princess of Wales. This book is easy to read and is written extremly well you feel like you know Diane and Paul by the end of it. The book puts an end to rumours and speculation and sets the record straight.
This book is a must read for any Paul Burrell or lady Diane fan. You do not nesscarily have to read Pauls first book to read this one but it would help with the background information.
There are lots of lovely photographs from Pauls private collection that let you see into another world and way of living.
A truely magnificant book which I feel Diane Princess of Wales would be proud of....

Advantages: smooth storytelling Disadvantages: a harrowing true story
...I love this book and have read it numerous times but not since becoming a mother. I think if I was to read it again now, the book would have a whole new tone for me. The thought of my child in danger and pain makes me sick to my stomach - to be the one who would inflict such terror and hurt upon her is just so far beyond my comprehension.
The tragic story of Diane Downs and her 3 children is a harrowing one indeed. Separated from her husband and father of her 3 beautiful children she embarks upon an obsessive relationship with a married colleague - Lew. Lew enjoys freedom from such complications as children so torn between the excitement of Diane (and her burden) and his love for his wife, Lew is back and forth between the two women. Eventually, he decides to save his marriage and leaves a heartbroken but undeterred Diane.
After many...
