I started taking Dianette about 3-4 months ago as i was suffering regular break-outs due to my oily skin (i was previously taking micogynon). After the first month you could already see the improvement in my skin.
But 3-4 months on although my skin has cleared up completely, i am experiencing severe headaches, mood swings, periods of extreme anxiety, pain during sex, and i have also gone up a dress size (& bra size)
I have never suffered from headaches before but now i have at least one a day and i would say about 2 severe migraine a week! Ouch!!! So i can only assume that this is down to Dianette.
I have heard about a new pill called Yasmin, which is supposed to be the best on the market for acne/ contraception. I will definately be switching!
