Bebo

Advantages: -
Disadvantages: -

Bebo is an online message board site that works in real time, it is very similar to Facebook and Myspace though it seems to be used more than in the UK than these similar sites. Bebo can be used for a large list of different things, you can send public messages, private messages, share photos, do fun quizes and add applications, add and make new friends or just stay in touch with your own friends, create or join groups of people with similar interest, ...
...Bebo is also quite a safe site because you can make your profile that you set up private so then no one who is not on your friends list can look at it. You can also block members from viewing your profile and also you can make pictures private and stop people from copying them to their profile. It can be dangerous though to use if you dont make use of the security provided on the site, there can be immature people who ruin this website by bullying ...

Trolled, attacked back, then suspended.

Advantages: user-friendly website
Disadvantages: very poor customer support, they tend to take the opinion of the majority, they make up lies

My name is Nathan and until about 2002 I enjoyed using the internet with no worries. I had even run my own internet chat site (it's called a talker), had made improvements to its code, had played about with various games, used ICQ and got to know a wide range of people and had a great time getting to know them. The internet is a great thing to use. For 7 or 8 years I had used it peacefully, happily, with a few ups and downs but generally pretty happy ...
...When I first joined social networking site LiveJournal, my experiences were quite pleasant. I wrote blogs, had many friends, and enjoyed it so much that I paid for a permanent account, something which was supposed to mean that I would be with Live Journal forever. I also worked on their support desk, helping people deal with any problems. I should have been a trusted person. The problems began when trolling site LiveJournal Drama (LJ Drama) found ...

Opendiary - Your password protected diary!

Advantages: Can be private or public, good for unbiased opinions, free, can be good stress relief
Disadvantages: You do get the odd attention seeker once in a blue moon.

Opendiary.com is an online community for people to create their own personal diary to be kept either private or public. It is free to sign up to the basic account which attracts people from all over the world. So why put your diary publicly so everyone can read it? Firstly, you dont have to put any details about yourself. You dont have to say who you are, where you are from or even have a picture. You can choose to do this at your own discretion. ...
...you go however I'm sure. So opendiary.com is a great way of expressing what you're thinking and feeling. Best of all, if you want it just for yourself then you can set it to private so only you can read it. I really do reccommend checking it out. ...

Diaryland Takes Time

Advantages: User-friendly interface to database
Disadvantages: Unreliable

I have been with Diaryland as a "Supergold" member for a little less than a year. Supergold includes a comment system, 30mb for images, and 10,000 banner ads that other members will see randomly as they surf. Diaryland accounts are totally customizable. My account has totally custom designed HTML, Javascripts, and graphics. It took some time to learn enough to code it myself, but that was half the fun. The best thing about Diaryland is that your ...
...to make writing new entries a snap. Just type in the window, and the text is added to your index.htm page. A new feature allows you to host an individual domain name and show the content of your diaryland account. For instance, if you were "http://me.diaryland.com/", you could now be "http://www.me.com/" It's an additional charge, but it's worth it for those of us on Diaryland that have robust sites. The way diaries become interlinked and commented ...
