I love all Diesel fragrances (plus plus feminine and masculine, zero plus feminine and masculine and green masculine) this one being the exception. I tried hard to like it, I really did, cause the bottle is so natty! Fortunately I didn't follow my perfume-maniac-it's-in-a-really-neat-bottle-so-I-therefore-must-have-it urge and was spared ownership of an utterly odd aroma juice.

The presentation:

The bottle itself looks like an old fashioned oiling can fashioned of transparent lime-geen glass with a nifty squeeze-down trigger sprayer, although it is sometimes available in a limited edition green aluminum bottle. The box it comes in is nothing fancy, just a clear plastic affair. The edt is mainly available as a 75ml spray, but there is also a 30ml version, but the bottle is much simpler. There are several complementary products available including shower gel, body lotion and deodorant. I don't know how much this costs, but I remember the price as being average for designer fragrances.

The perfume:

According to Diesel's own description: "This fresh, woody floral is a lush combination of ginger, lime, soothing woods, and soft florals such as carnation and jasmine that blend softly to make a fragrance that is the ultimate statement in femininity.

Sounds lovely, doesn't it? It's not, at least in my opinion. I didn't spray it on my skin though, as the scent from the testercard was so awful that I didn't want to impregnante my skin with this odour. It smelt very musty, almost manly, with the wrong balance of vanilla and lime and was overall quite nauseating. Perhaps if I had the guts to actually try it on my skin, it might smell ok...but I don't want to smell like a pine tree car freshner, which was the initial impression I had after the spray hit the card.

The final countdown:

I don't know who buys this. Probably just bottle collector's or maybe some people have a body chemistry which just loves this fragrance. I have never known anyone to actually use this (own it yes, because of the bottle). If you are thinking about purchasing this, I strongly suggest you try it out on your skin first, otherwise you may just end up with a pretty looking but otherwise useless bottle.
