I am happy to be the first one to rate my favourite perfume of all time Diesel Zero Plus Feminine. I am totally addicted to this fragrance and use it more often than all of my other perfumes. My friends and acquaintances say it is 'my' scent, as whenever they smell this fragrance, they think immediately of me :)
Appearances aren't everything, but...
The reason I initially bought this perfume was because I just loved the deep red colour of the bottle. It is quite eye-catching! (I know, I am a total marketing victim) I bought my first bottle as a 30ml 'try-me' size, and was immediately hooked. The original size is the 75ml bottle which is rounded and looks not unlike a gas canister (for example for oxygen or scuba diving), which is cherry-red in colour with the name and product description written sideways on the bottle. The bottle is made most likely of glass, but is covered in a rubbery-like material which imparts the bottle with a deep red almost metallic appearance. The writing is in silver, and the top is equipped with a matte silver coloured sprayer. The packaging the bottle comes in is also very interesting; a plastic capsule which makes the perfume look quite spacey. They are pretty clever, packaging a fragrance so as to make it attractive to lil 'ol me!
The scent:
According to Diesel, it contains the following notes: coconut milk, strawberry, vanilla, cherry, red apple, cassis, cassia oil, plum, muguet, maroccan rose, pitosforum (a leafy plant), bitter orange, black pepper, nutmeg, magnolia leaves, pineapple, orchid, orris (a root, which gives perfume lasting power), cinnamon, sandalwood, musk, amber, jasmine, and finally cedarwood. Whew! If that isn't your moneys worth of ingredients!
When I first spray it on my skin, my first impression is that it smells very fresh and fruity, like freshly picked strawberries, cherries and other red fruits. After a few minutes it mellows out and smells warm and cinnamon-y with hints of sandalwood and vanilla. The longer it wears, the better it gets. I don't notice it so much myself, but I have been told while wearing this perfume that I smell like a delicious pina colada, so there is a distinct coconut note to this fragrance. It changes according to my moods and weather, making this a very versatile fragrance. It is my favourite out of my many perfumes! I can also wear this directly on my skin without it being irritating (maybe because it is produced by marbert, a leading skincare company?), and it lasts longer than all other perfumes I have tried, without being overpowering.
The range:
If you are lucky, you might find the 30ml size at your local perfumery, as it is a bit silly to shell out for the big bottle if you haven't tried it a few times first. There are also other products available so that you can smell yummy from head to toe.

The verdict:
It isn't very expensive, and a 75ml bottle of EDT goes a long way. Also, because the bottle isn't clear, it keeps pretty well. I paid about the equivalent of £20 for a 75ml bottle.
I love this perfume. I recommend it for year round use if you like fruity sexy scents that last. I don't use it on very hot days as it can be too sweet. Plus, the bottle looks cool, only downside being that there is no cap to make it easier to transport. Give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised!
