...I'd say. Now Diet Coke with Lime - is just one of the Coke family's offspring. Original Coke was sold all the way up to 1982 with it's packaging evolving and changing and modernizing over time; and in that year the company spawned Diet Coke, a sugar free and low calorie version of the drink, that just happened to be the most popular product launch of the decade. From then on it has spat out Coke with vanilla, cherry and lemon experimenting with different ... ...THE DRINK ITSELF
Diet Coke with Lime is different. Well obviously. I was wary at first of trying it, as I never normally added lime to drinks anyway, but I tried it when someone recommended it to me. I immediately liked it, and have not been able to stop buying it. A fan of their 2 litre bottle amounts I get it from my local Asdas. In fact I like it so much I've been known to be that little bit greedy with it, when I'm not the one who's bought it. ...

Advantages: Low calorie, realistic lime flavour, coke not a nasty imitation Disadvantages: Caffeine, not nice when room temperature
...released a new variety of Diet Coke, to accompany the existing plain, lemon, and vanilla flavours. Now I've tried all of these, but so far have always reverted to the good old plain, no-frills version. So I wasn't too hopeful when I spotted the new Diet Coke with Lime on sale in the canteen at work, but didn't let that stop me.
Coca Cola as a company has been around seemingly forever (well, since 1886 at any rate). They're the number 2 cola company ... ...the UK. They launched the Diet Coke variation in 1982, and the drink is now the fourth most popular fizzy drink in the world, and number one in the low or no sugar versions (including fizzy mineral water). So, is a version with added lime going to be any good?

On opening a bottle or can of this lime flavoured beverage, there's definitely a whiff of citrus in the air. It's not an unpleasant smell, although it does have certain ...

Advantages: Low in fat, refreshing, still contains the same amount of caffeine as ordinary coke. Disadvantages: Tastes synthetic.
Diet coke with lime is a very tasty and refreshing drink. Though I am not usually a lover of diet coke it adds a little sweetness to it and is a lot tastier than diet coke with lemon.
I have recently gone onto diet coke since being on a diet after having my daughter. I want to lose some weight. You know how it is? So although I love ordinary coke diet coke it had to be! Now I am partial to a drink of coke and especially when it is ice cold, straight ... ...Although I am saying diet coke with lime is a nice drink it does have a synthetic taste though not so harsh as the diet lemon coke. Hey did you know they even do diet cherry coke now? The Coke company is becoming more aware of the health risks associated with drinking coke and of course, they don't want to lose out on money.
You can buy diet coke with lime in several sizes. Including, small bottles and big bottles. To give you an idea on the price, ...

Hello and welcome to the review that should have been here. It was here but its not here now as I have taken it and put it into my private stash somewhere else. It may well appear somewhere else online and if it does it will have my name on it. Thank you to everyone, to all the people in my COT over the years who have stuck by me and who have been great influences over the reviews I have written. It is indeed a sad case that reviewers have to come ... ...sense at all when the original content should be listed and frankly because of endless problems with Ciao I no longer have the time and energy to carry on. Each time I tried, it didn't work. Each message I sent to other members, they didn't appear. Each rate I applied, it didn't show. So that's the end of it. Ty for reading. ...

Advantages: Very cheap in Asda, low in calories and sugar free. Disadvantages: Everything else!
...Now, usually, I like Diet Coke. And usually, I like the taste of lime. However when you put them together, at least in Coca Cola's style, it comes out as a disgustingly sweet, offensive-tasting low calorie drink.
The first reason I find this offensive is that it's horribly sweet. Everyone knows that Coke of the Diet variety does tend to be sweeter, even though it's calorie free, but for some reason they seem to have added another tub of sweetners ... ...I suspect it is, because Diet Coke with Lemon hasn't been selling as well as hoped. It's not sour on first taste, and it doesn't give you a lime-flavoured after-taste - it tastes like toilet cleaner.
The one redeeming fact is that it doesn't taste quite as bad ice cold. So if you have to drink it, have it on the rocks.
Overall, I would either recommend you try Diet Coke with Lemon, because at least it tastes of lemon or, if you have the time, it's ...

Advantages: Tastes nice if... Disadvantages: ...you haven't had the Diet Coke version, which tastes better
...After having DietCoke with Lime before and liking it, I was quite interested to see how Coke with Lime would taste, so I bought a bottle. Tasted .. Well, different to say the least.
~~~ Taste ~~~
Yes, it's coke and lime. It tastes like coke with a hint of lime. You can't taste the lime all that much though, and it has a very weak taste. To be honest, I found it tasted far more like normal Coke, so wasn't too keen on this.
I found afterwards that the reason is the lack of defined taste. DietCoke with Lime has a really sharp and defined taste, and you can really taste the lime, whereas with this you can't taste it all that much. I would much rather pick up a bottle of DietCoke with Lime than this again.
~~~ Appearance ~~~
I haven't seen a can of this, but I have seen the green bottle version, and I have to say - it...

Advantages: Cherry flavor, low calories and Sugar free Disadvantages: None
...'s what the are from my work place ) the single bottles cost between 78p to 90p again depending where you get it from.
Then you have the mu-ti-packs cans, DietCoke With Cherry 6 x 330ml cost you around £2.29. The Dietcoke with cherry 2liters bottle cost you £1.20.
I have seen these in Morrison's, Tesco, Sainsbury but mainly in Asda they do all the flavors in there. ( I have seen Sainsbury's do buy 3 for the price of 2 on the diet cherry, lime and Caffeine Free, also they are doing a buy 3 for £3.30 on the 2 litre bottles )
Some of the petrol garages have them, but it's mainly the dietcoke, lime and lemon.
***** Conclusion *****
So I have tried and tasted and my verdict is buy it now, my opinion is the diet cherry coke does not taste like a diet drink you can't smell and you can't taste it until the after taste...

Advantages: New flavour of Diet Coke, a diet cherry flavoured drink for the first time Disadvantages: Still not as good as the original Diet Coke
...Once again there's a new flavour of DietCoke available in a shop near you. Unlike last year's DietCoke with Lime launch, this time the utterly revolting DietCoke with Vanilla is being withdrawn from sale, and DietCoke with Cherry is all set to replace it in your affections. Personally, I think this is a great idea, as the vanilla flavour DietCoke really is repulsive, and it's been nigh on impossible to find cherry flavoured fizzy drinks that don't contain tons of sugar.
Around since 1982, DietCoke has been available in a whole bunch of different flavours in the States for quite some time, but it's only fairly recently that some of these flavours have been brought over to Blighty for a try. So, how does the cherry flavouring stack up against the other varieties on offer, and of course against the good old stand-by DietCoke...
