Chewy not chalky!
Advantages: Get rid of pain! Disadvantages: erm...
...ASDA when I came across rennie Soft Chews and had to try them.
One pack was about 79p and a pack of 3 packs £2.69
There are about 8 'sweets' in a pack.
You have to take a couple when you need them but no more than 10 a day.
Normally 2 do the trick at least for a while anyway.
On a diet?
The contents are as follows...
"Calcium carbonate 800mg (equivalent to 320mg calcium), and also contains sucrose ( 1.73g), glucose syrup (includes 146mg glucose ... ...brilliant blue (E133), quinoline yellow (E104), glucose, purified talc, glycerol." Quote from the packet.
Children shouldn't really need to use these but it is not recommended that they do anyway.
Adults should not over use them and are advised to consult a doctor if symptoms persist.
Over use in one day can cause a laxative effect also.
How do they taste?
They are quite nice.
Minty but not too minty and they do not really taste like a tablet ...

Recently however I came across Bisodol Extra tablets in my local Pharmacy. They are available without prescription and I would normally not buy them from a Pharmacy, but I had popped into the Chemist for something else and whilst I was there I realised that I had run out of my regular Bisodol tablets.
Bisodol Extra tablets are ... ...one shown here is for Bisodol Extra Strong Mints.) This packaging is completely different to that of my standard Bisodol tablets which come in a round, tubular packet, more reminiscent of a packet of sweets like Refreshers. These new Extra tablets are packaged in a much more medical looking way, and I guess that this is the way that they are being marketed.
The differences between these new tablets and my regular Bisodol ones does not stop with ...
