Advantages: Good Picture and Excellent Sound. Easy to set up with lots of features Disadvantages: Occasional picture freeze (see review) when TV tends to re-set itself (probably due to broadcast conditions though)
I have been resisting switching over to digital television since it first appeared. And as far as I was concerned, the TFT televisions were to be avoided until all the niggling problems were ironed out. After getting back to (almost) normal after my heart attack, I decided it was time to "bite the bullet" and get a TFT. A 32-inch model would be about the best size for our lounge so that's what I opted for and, being a Sony fanatic, Sony it had to be. Our last Sony (CRT) television had been with us for 10 years or more and had never given any problems and the same can be said for our Sony video recorder.
I was surprised to find out that receiving digital was not without it problems. Firstly, you cannot record one channel and watch another, but I am digressing here from the actual TV? Enter the Sony Bravia. KDL-32S2010.

Advantages: Really cuddly and soft, Steiff brand quality, machine washable, special gift Disadvantages: A little expensive compared to some teddy bears
Steiff's year bears make a really lovely gift for a special occasion like a christening, birth or anniversary. I was surprised that Steiff make such soft, cuddly bears - I thought they were all hard and stiff. This teddy is made from woven plush rather than mohair, so it's really nice to touch and perfect for kids.
The special touches on the year bear are the Steiff button and tag in his ear - I had only seen this mark on expensive and antique bears before. The bear has 2010 embroidered on his foot so it will always be remembered for the year it was given.
Although the bear is a little more money than I would spend on an average present I decided it was perfect for my niece's christening next year and I'm sure it will be well received. ...

This year I wasn't sure what I wanted. I had considered buying the David Tennant one for 2010, or perhaps the Scott Maslen one. Now normally I don't buy the calendar until the December, usually when I splash whatever cash I have left in town on Boxing Day, so I had plenty of time to decide. However, I spotted a calendar that instantly flew towards me, and from that moment I wouldn't let it go.
Not only is having two calendars a tradition of mine now, but also where I purchase them from is very ...
