The software included with the item is extraordinary, the light version of pro tools 8, although lacking or limiting some features still manages to impress. With a vast amount of audio and midi possibilities as well as brilliant and able plug-ins for a variety of uses.

The quailty of the preamps in the unit are average; good enough for a project studio but more choosy of recordists might want to use an external preamp.the output quality is also quite good.
