Digihome 22784 WHD

I bought this Digihome 22" LCD TV from Tesco at the end of August 08, it went faulty after just 2 weeks, kept switching itself off, sometimes wouldn't come back on, the plug sparked when you unplug & replug, the screen flashed, it was terrible. I took it back & got a replacement & the replacement was faulty too! When I switched it on, there was a loud buzz from the back of the TV which only disappeared when the TV was on stand by or off completely. I assume that these tele's have some kind of electrical problem in them? I took that one back too & bought a 32 inch Toshiba instead! I wouldn't recommend this Digihome for toffee. As far as looks & sound goes, when the television did work, it was quite impressive. The built in Freeview worked fine & tuned in very quickly. For gaming, I plugged my Wii console in & there were no noticeable problems at all. The menu's could be larger, I had a spot of trouble reading them at times, the remote was simple & not confusing at all. I only paid £179 but in my opinion, not money well spent considering 2 out of 2 sets were faulty. The Toshiba set me back a further £200 on top & I am well impressed with it, love it!
