...too but I shall ask Samsung Technical Support about this when I take it in to get the battery compartment fixed. About a month after I purchased this, and I'm usually relatively good to my gadgets, the slide mechanism of the battery compartment is busted so the battery compartment won't close. Advantages: Powerful zoom
Disadvantages: Poor macro

This is a very attractive camera. The screen is striking, in it's size and clarity. The controls are intuitive, my child was using it within minutes. It has internal memory and therefore stores pictures quickly. Some of the pictures are clear and luminous. The zoom is quiet and quick and surprisingly powerful.
