Nikon Coolpix 80
Review of Nikon Coolpix P80 by Questers

Advantages: Top of the range for quality and usage
Disadvantages: Cost if anything

...and I own the previous Nikon and are currently looking at upgrading to the Nikon Coolpix 80. The price is very reasonable we think as the quality of Nikons are second to none. We even managed a discount when we first purchased ours from Jessops in Derby due to my partner being a student photographer. We have had only a few problems with our existing Nikon which is why we are likely to purchase the new Coolpix 80. The customer service at Nikon have ...
...The new features on the Nikon Coolpix 80 are exciting and we can't wait to purchase it although we are not sure where we will do it this time as we are now in Manchester and not Derby. What we did find was the accessories were quite expensive however they can be used on all cameras so we will now be able to use them on the Nikon Coolpix 80. ... Read review

Grat carmera - If you can still get one!
Review of Fujifilm FinePix F30 by minionaire

Advantages: Small, grat in low light.
Disadvantages: Not widely available any more.

This is a great compact camera, as I write in October 2008 it still has the best low light performance of any compact. Don't let the fact that it only has 6MP (low by today's standards) put you off. This truly is a great camera. Ideal for social situations when the lighting level is low. It's other modes of operation are good, especially the flash mode which takes one picture without flash and one with. This makes it easy to reject and keep the best ... Read review

This camera is a bargain goodness!
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P1 by ishralene09

Advantages: Affordable, Easy to carry, Can shoot movie clips, Zoom function
Disadvantages: Hard to upgrade memory due to new technology

This camera was brought by my father from Japan. Actually we have two of these in the house. And it really is a joy to have two, as we can shoot and shoot. This camera is actually old by now. It does have 3.3 Megapixels when it comes to details, but this camera is by now hard to use. You might want to buy a better camera. But if you want bargain, this should work as well. My father bought two of these for about I don't know, $5 each. So it's a ...
...so bad. And it also has zoom functions to boot. And one great feature of this camera is that it can shoot a 15-second movie clip. Not bad for an old camera eh? Of course, there are several flaws too. When shooting at a dark space, it will appear as if the background is well lit on the camera's LCD. But when transfered to a PC, you can see that it is not that light, and you have to fix the picture just to make it light. Another big constraint is ... Read review

Samsung s630
Review of Samsung S630 by Explorer23

Advantages: Light weight
Disadvantages: Needs batteries

A small, light weight digital camera with excellent picture quality and the added benefit of being able to record videos. Simple to use, making it effortless and useable by all, plus meaning that those special moments can be captured in an instant; so you will always have a lasting memory. The viewing screen on the reverse of the camera is of decent size, making it easy to review your photos and videos. The camera appears to be pretty sturdy, with ... Read review

Review of Nikon Coolpix S210 by flowerchi1d

Advantages: slimline, attractive, simple to use
Disadvantages: poor zoom, no battery life indicator

The Nikon Coolpix S210 is a lightweight, slim, compact digital camera available for under a hundred pounds. Its simple design means that it easily fits into a pocket or handbag, or the included wrist strap can be used to carry it around. The screen is a genorous 2.5 inches which makes viewing easy. The Nikon S210 comes with a lithium battery plus charger which saves those agonising moments of realising you need to nip out and buy more batteries. ...
...which could be very painful if you don't carry an extra battery. The optical zoom on this camera is a poor 3x optical zoom or 4x digital zoom, which is much less than most cameras on the market at the same price. The camera is incredibly easy to use, with few buttons and simple instructions. The on/off button is frustratingly close to the shutter button however. The pictures are sharp and clear, and the camera is able to detect faces and focus ... Read review
