I have had the Nikon for about a year, after reviewing about 6 camera`s the Nikon with it`s superb swivel lens stood out because of the 10X optical lens. I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 8800 a few months ago as a spare back up camera to my Nikon D70. I've used one of these digital cameras for over 6 months now, and I really can't fault it so far. It has a good range of presets to help with things like photos of moving images, night portraits and pictures of text (ideal for some of my auction entries!!).
