The TZ3 was smack bang in the middle it gave a good X10 zoom (if I want more I'll switch to an SLR with lenses) and though not small enough to fit in my jeans pocket it fits fine in a coat or my wife's bag. Fujifilm Finepix S5700. This is a very fine digital camera at MY price! The moment I set eyes on this one, I was really very impressed. The features on this model are unbelievable. I paid £199 for this camera with a printer (Easyshare G600 printer dock), 50 sheets of photo paper and a 1 GB card. I think it is brilliant value for money. The camera itself is so easy to use - you just have to click to the general picture tab and it will do the rest for you if you don't like to be any more in control! It has a range of other setting I use - "sports" to take things on the move (I often use that for the kids as they never sit still ...

Certainly good enough video to record family events etc - there is no zoom on the video though.
