Canon Digital IXUS
Review of Canon Digital IXUS 860 IS by Ceenguyen

Advantages: Clear images, auto focus, brilliant video playback.
Disadvantages: A little bit heavy.

...clearer than the Sony T10. For those that want a slim camera, i advise to buy the Sony series or the Canon Digital IXUS I Zoom which is so cute! And for those that don't mind, this camera is definitely the one to buy for those that love taking pictures. ... Read review

A good 8 megapixel camera
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W90 by paul91

Advantages: optical image stabilization
Disadvantages: have to buy a few accessories

...worth every penny! The Sony DSC W90 is one of the cheaper pocket sized cameras. Its strong points include ease of use. This camera is one for the shortlist if you are looking for a camera you can slip into your pocket, but you don't really want to spend all your pocket money. The DSC W90 is aimed at someone looking to take the normal range of snapshots on holiday and at all the usual social occasions. This camera has a 8 Megapixels and a 3 times ...
...(WHD, in inches) and weighs 5.2 ounces, including battery and Memory Stick Duo card. It's easy to slip this one in your pocket, and as the old saying goes, your best camera is the one you have with you. When i got one it came with the basics (sans memory card and HD cable). Although the camera has 31MB of internal memory, budget another £25 for a 512 MB card. You'll get the camera, wrist strap, battery/charger, hydra-headed cable, and software CD-ROM ... Read review

PInk Pearlized
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T20 by charess

Advantages: Advanced Functions
Disadvantages: Light

What i like about Sony Cybershot DSC T20 is its sleek design. There are various colors colors to choose from but i like my pink pearlized Sony CyberShot camera much .It has 8.1 enhanced mega pixels resolution to capture the beauty of life and an advanced Bionz processor that automatically detects face and skin and a red eye reduction function which often results due to to the reflection of the retina. The Sony anti blur solution helps you shoot sharp ... Pros / Cons
Review of Olympus µ[MJU:] DIGITAL 800 by Dj_Ang

Advantages: Photo size and quality, Start up speed, Looks good!!
Disadvantages: Comparatively expensive memory cards, Night mode, Zoom

I bought this as my first digital camera, and on a whole have been very happy with its performance. The night mode often takes a long time to photograph a subject and this can be annoying if taking an action shot, although for a still composition, it photographs very well. The zoom is only 3x, but as the resolution of these photos are so high, this is not a major issue. The only other problem with this camera is that the memory cards are still relatively ...
...are therefore more expensive, however this is not a huge problem as the prices are dropping. The camera is nice and compact (fits nicely into my pocket - which can be very usefull when on holiday if you do not want to be bogged down when going for a quick walk around), and the screen is large and sharp. The whole camera has a general feel of high-quality manufacture which is really nice. The camera on a whole works very quickly, and the battery lasts ... Read review

BenQ DC C800 - A Little Gem
Review of BenQ DC C800 by girlgrey

Advantages: Great picture quality, 8mp for great price tag, brill video capability
Disadvantages: Slightly plasticky feeling of outer case.

I purchased this camera based purely on its spec and only one review I could find on the net and thankfully I was very pleased with it when it arrived. It is lovely and small but has a great 2.4" colour screen which is nice and big for framing up those all important shots. Its also a great size for showing people photos without having to print them out or put on to a computer. I really like the black and silver outer casing which makes it looks a ...
...on the market but its not the most expensive or solid feeling thing in the world. However, the camera suprised me in how light it felt. The navigation is also pretty well set out but a good read of the manual is always helpful. The camera has 8 megapixels but the option to take photos at a lower resolution and therefore save on memory space. I did have to buy a separate SD memory card but the integrated memory of 26mb is a good backup if you need ... Read review
