Great though bulky camera
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE P880 by
bllward
Advantages: Fantastic pictures, and looks impressive
Disadvantages: Bulky, more expensive than a point-and-click camera
I bought one opf these that had been manufacturer refurbished, after a disasterous trip to Italy with a cheap camera that ruined all our photos. I was attracted to this camera because it seemed to have a good mix of features for a good price.
I used the camera for the first time at center parcs, and even though there is a steepish learning curve with it, I managed to take a lot of decent pictures with it.
It is what is called a "bridge" camera, ... ...camera and a semiprofessionsl DSLR camera.
With 8 megapixels, the pictures it takes have plenty of details with sharp definition. The different modes were also very helpful, when I put it in sports mode I was able to take some very good pictures of fast moving squirrels and doormice!
Another feature i (over)used was the macro mode. It enables you to take pictures of objects close up and give you a great depth of field.
All in all, a great camera ...

From a novice's point of view: excellent!
Review of Samsung i85 by
becca0706
Advantages: fairly simple to use, takes very clear good quality images
Disadvantages: none found as yet!
This was my first digital camera, and as much as I am interested in photography, my technological knowledge is very limited!
So speaking from a novice's point of view, so far I have thought this is an excellent camera! It is fairly simple to use, especially if you keep it in automatic modes and don't plan on fiddling with the settings too much; you don't necessarily need to, it takes a great picture anyway!the photos come out very clear, although ... ...there is a mode that claims to reduce red eye, but i have not tried this yet.The battery life is fairly good, which was important to me as i like to take it out for a day out and needed it to last a long time, which it does. It also loads music, which I haven't tried yet, but its definitely a bonus to have a multitasking camera.
So, from a technophobes viewpoint, i would definitely recommend this camera, its pretty simple to use and takes great ...

Fujifilm FinePix Z100fd AMAZING!
Review of Fujifilm FinePix Z100FD by
Gemma1990
Advantages: Stunning photos, looks gorgeous, easy to use
Disadvantages: none :)
I got this camera a few months ago, and i absolutely love it!
Not only does it look amazing, but the quality of the pictures are stunning too.
The screen on the back is a really good size so you can see clearly what your pics are like.
The menu for choosing settings is easy to navigate, but there are so many different settings it takes a while to figure out which one you need!
This has to be my favourite camera I've ever had, it's small so it ...

Great camera for price!
Review of Medion MD 85060 by
Normankool
Advantages: Uber-Cool picture quality and focus skills
Disadvantages: Large file sizes
Amazing camera for price! Was bought for less than a hundred pounds but hugely outweighs the capabilities of my £400 camera! The way that it focuses so well each and every time is what I love about it. It produces large, crystal clear images and great videos with nice sound. Only downside is it uses Lithium rechargeable batteries but thats not really bad. Just means you have to remove battery to charge. The battery is the same used for a popular ... ...buy. With great pictures comes large file sizes so I would suggest getting atleast a 2gb SD card for it (which are very cheap to buy anyway- in some cases less than a tenna!) which will provide room for about 720 High-Quality pics. Overall, this is a great camera. If you are looking for anything less than a Profesional DSLR camera, this cannot in my opinion be beaten. I would not buy this as a "chuck about" camera as it has a large, vulnerable LCD ...

Best camera I've used
Review of Casio Exilim EX-Z 1080 by
andrewxox
Advantages: Fast start up, quick time from photo to photo, amazing quality
Disadvantages: Screen freezes when focusing in
...very pleased when I found casio were thoughtful enough to supply a charger and very good battery with the z1080.
Usually I would have to load my pictures into Paint Shop Pro X2 with the C875 to touch them up and try to hide away all of the noise and bring up detail in the photos. I have only tryed this once with the z1080 with a quick photo I taken pretty much carelessly. I couldn't improve the photo at all on Paint Shop one bit, the detail was ... ...I have ever used, the Casio z1080 beats them all hands down, and at a price of £79 you'd think you're dreaming of something. If you are looking for a camera that looks good, compact and easy to use, as well as taking amazing photos that you would expect from a camera that is worth £100 more, take a look at this camera before any other. ...
