I would endorse 'noselot's' review entirely. As probably one of the worst photographers in the world I bought my FZ8 in an attempt to, at least, get the objects that I wanted to take in focus. Bought this as a secondary camera last week (didn't want to lug around my SLR for nights out!). Have played with it over the xmas party season and have found it to be an all round easy to use camera. It's well built and has a host of features which is great but it does have some flaws. This is a wonderful little camera. I did originally have the 5 megapixel one which got broken but because I was so impressed with the model I bought the next one up. It is nice and lightweight and easily fits in your pocket. It has various scene settings, this time including underwater settings (which you need the special casing for) but can be used for non underwater photos (I personally love the undewater macro setting for taking photos of flowers), ...

Excellent camera. Pictures are clear and beautiful. Does not give any trouble and screen is good size for viewing pictures. Reliable and can survive many falls. Easy transfer from camera to computer. Quality of shots are better than a lot of other cameras. Highly recommended for its sleek and professional look. Comes in many great colors. Worth the money because of reliability.
