Sony CyberShot DSC-T3
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T3 by Feijoa78

Advantages: Easy to Use, Slim line for pockets, Just brilliant
Disadvantages: Honestly none that I can think off

I bought this camera while on holiday and I just launched straight in and off I went... I love taking photo's and I have found the quality of photos and video is amazing for the size, it takes beautiful black & white and sepia photos and the sound quality on the video is pretty impressive. I liked the fact I could fit it in a small handbag very easily or in a jacket pocket without looking any bigger then a cell phone. Photos are easy to download ... Read review

Durable take-everywhere camera on all holidays
Review of Canon Digital IXUS II by cloudysea

Advantages: Cheap SD memory cards, good for frequent use
Disadvantages: Old now, lack features, need more than one battery

I have used this camera for around two years now, and taken it to many places around the world. This proves its durability and reliability, which makes it excellent for harsh conditions (but not waterproof!). It is quick to start up, although not instant, but you can still have enough time to capture those moments. Its fairly light and small so I don't mind carrying it in my hand or just putting it in my jeans pockets. I did buy some spare SD memory ...
...batteries. As I take a lot of photos on the highest quality settings and the spare batteries keep the camera running and me happy for a whole day guaranteed. It does lack some features that other brands has, as I also had the chance to use Sony's T- series cameras on many trips and I would think shame my Cannon doesn't have this feature. But for normal photos this camera is ok. I also printed a lot of the photos take with this camera, and maximum ... Read review

...After I found that I had a passion for taking pictures, the camera on my phone was not going to suit me for much longer, and I decided it was time that I brought a better camera. After looking around on the Internet, I finally decided that I was going to give this camera a try, because of the new features it seemed to have, and plus because the design really attracted me to it. The camera itself was £180, something that hurt the bank bad, but was ... Read review

Great camera for a Great price!
Review of Canon Digital IXUS I5 by carlycomp

Advantages: Looks great and takes a good picture
Disadvantages: None that I have come across!

Bought this Canon camera to upgrade my previous model in August 2006 - I have not been disappointed! Firstly, the camera looks fantastic! If you're bored of your bog-standard black or silver camera's, then this model is definitely for us, the funky burgundy is definitely stylish! Its nice and compact so it will fit into your dinky bags for nights outs (girls, you know this is important...!) I have also found this camera to be resilient - although ...
...that is compact enough for it to fit into my small bags. For me, it takes a great photo. I also find the zoom to be great - I have taken some superb photos at concerts using the zoom, I have had no problems with it whatsoever. Just hold the button down half way for it to focus, and then press down fully to take the photo - perfect! All in all, I have experienced no problems with this great model - I mostly use it for holiday pictures, going out ... Read review

A great camera with potential
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 by slinky_crazy

Advantages: Compact, durable, high quality images, good size, easy to navigate
Disadvantages: images may appear pixilated when taken in high sensitivity mode

...then i would recommend the panasonic lumix range. I purchased this camera at Christmas 2006 and I've found it does everything I wanted it to and more. The screen is a good size, though with the high sensitive images mode on pictures appear sharper than they may actually be, and it's a pocketable, or at least baggable, size itself. The battery life is very good and the charger is compact, lightweight and easily replaceable online (unfortunately i ... Read review
