The family user or the beginner appears to be the one who will get the most out of the HP R837 - it's simple enough for the kids (or my mother!) to operate and fun too. I have found this to be an easy to use multi function camera and printer set, that I have used on a number of occasions both for photos and videos. It has simple instructions, along with a good quality lcd screen to judge the shot. The printer gives good quality shots, although the ink does seem to run out very quickly when printing, whether in colour, black and white or sepia. Very lightweight and compact and easily fits in your bag or pocket.
