Great little camera, has more functions than what i even need in a digital camera. For starters, the 7.1 megapixels should attrach you instantly, as everyone who is buying cameras these days are mega pixel crazy. for standard use, setting the camera on 2-3 mp and then snap away at your hearts desire, the 7mp is only used for a huge scene and you want to zoom in when offloading the pictures to a computer. This is a great compact camera, as I write in October 2008 it still has the best low light performance of any compact. Don't let the fact that it only has 6MP (low by today's standards) put you off. This camera was brought by my father from Japan. Actually we have two of these in the house. And it really is a joy to have two, as we can shoot and shoot. This camera is actually old by now.
