Good...but not in Africa
Review of Canon PowerShot A460 by tunnag

Advantages: Clear photos
Disadvantages: Not dust-proof

I owned this camera for roughly 6 months and bought it due to the reviews saying that it was pretty much indestructable and i was off to africa for a month. At first i found this a great camera. It has a fairly large screen and easy to use buttons. The picture was very clear and excelent for anyone wanting a sharp picture without the expensive price tag. Although it worked fine in Scotland , a week into my trip the camera stopped workin due to a ... Read review

Canon G3 owner review
Review of Canon PowerShot G3 by dno36

Advantages: Excellent features, great colors, excellent flash, sweet lens.
Disadvantages: No stabilazation

...with his D70, and my pics look better overall. The swivel LCD is wonderful. If it were 2.5" & 200k res, it would be perfect. The f2.0 lens is very light efficient, and true to form. If Canon would add stabilization to this camera, I might start to quiver. ... Read review

A good quality camera for all places.
Review of Canon Digital IXUS 60 by nikolas_syrimis

Advantages: Very durable, good quality photos, outstanding.
Disadvantages: Colour changes provided are not amazing but OK.

...menu. One cool little feature Canon has introduced is Sound Memo, in which you can record a memo for a picture and view it later on camera or computer. You also have the ability to protect images so other people will not be able to view it without Canon Zoombrowser. You can also rotate the image if you've taken it at a weird angle and the auto-rotate feature has put it in a weird position. And finally, the good old Erase All. In the other sections ...
...you can get from a Canon Digital IXUS 60. For your information, if you manage to get the camera completely mesmerized in water, then the first thing you should do is leave it in a airing cupboard. I tried to work it afterwards and it was hard to press certain buttons, and if it works, you wouldn't get very far. Leave it in the airing cupboard for at least a good few hours, wait for it to fully dry and test. My screen got a little bit damaged around ... Read review

Perfect camera, almost.
Review of Canon PowerShot A430 by galaxynicole

Advantages: Great pictures, easy to use
Disadvantages: Battery life

...of the godchildren. Canon Powershot A430 is a 4 megapixel digital camera with a four times optical zoom lens. When it came out, it was an entry level digital camera, this meant that it has less features and functions but as a rule made it easier for children and older people to use. This camera takes still pictures but it also does VGA quality extra long movie clips with full sound. …The camera itself… Canon PowerShot A430 is compact and very light. ...
...need the cable and the Canon software installed on the PC. Load the software, connect the cable and you can download all the pictures that you want and edit them. The third way is the easiest way. Just need the cable and no software if you are using Windows XP or higher. It just plug and play. Plug the cable in and Windows own software pops up and you can just download all of them onto your PC in one go. …In the box… The camera USB cable A cover ... Read review

A decent camera
Review of Canon PowerShot A530 by jdstinger21

Advantages: A range of settings, light, good allround camera.
Disadvantages: 5 megapixels is quite low for todays standard.

A decent camera. Iv'e had it for about 2 years now and have used it mainly for holidays and some activities. In all fairness it seems to take good quality photos with no hassle. I generally use the Auto setting but for those who know what they're doing it's also possible to use the manual setting to get it just right. Other settings include: Landscape, Portrait, Night Scene, Video mode, Stitch assist (for taking wide photos and stitching it all together ...
...This has many sub-settings where you can choose the following settings: Beach, fireworks, snow, foliage, indoor, kids and pets, night snapshot and a few other more professional settings I suppose. I think you'll agree that the choice of settings is very good. Having just come back from holiday I have several quality photos to show the rest of the family and friends. It's light, a good size screen on the back, quite small and generally a good allround ... Read review
