Great semi pro, or pro backup.
Review of Canon EOS 20D by stuf1982

Advantages: Light weight yet robust
Disadvantages: Small sensor limit's full 35mm lenses, slightly red cast.

I am a professional photographer and use a 20D as one of my backups. This is an excellent semi pro camera that is user friendly enough for any beginner. With image quality suitable for printing up to A2 from a RAW file. I would strongly recommend shooting in RAW wherever possible as the JPEG compression can be very limiting for post shoot editing and any image correction you may need to apply. To get the most out of the camera I would recommend ... Read review

30D... why?
Review of Canon EOS 30D by jake169

Advantages: 2.5" LCD screen, 5FPS
Disadvantages: only 8 megapixels

Another typical camera by Canon. The 30D comes as an upgrade from the very successful 20D. Owning this DSLR I can only say that you can feel the quality. As well as being ergonomic the button layout is perfect. On other moddles some buttons are to small the press especially with gloves on. Picture quality is excellent colours are replicated well from natural skin tones to the vivid colours of the camera. A chose this camera as my first DSLR as it ...
...shooting at this speed requires a high shutter speed. Well you were right to get 5fps you will have to be shooting at 1/4000 sec although 4fps is a more realistic speed for average shooting. This still seems fast enough and produces sharp images especially when using AI and Servo modes with moving subjects. Overall this is an excellent camera and is very user freindly due to design and the large 2.5" lcd screen. If you are considering buying this ... Read review

Fujifilm FinePix Z100fd AMAZING!
Review of Fujifilm FinePix Z100FD by Gemma1990

Advantages: Stunning photos, looks gorgeous, easy to use
Disadvantages: none :)

I got this camera a few months ago, and i absolutely love it! Not only does it look amazing, but the quality of the pictures are stunning too. The screen on the back is a really good size so you can see clearly what your pics are like. The menu for choosing settings is easy to navigate, but there are so many different settings it takes a while to figure out which one you need! This has to be my favourite camera I've ever had, it's small so it ... Read review

Great camera for price!
Review of Medion MD 85060 by Normankool

Advantages: Uber-Cool picture quality and focus skills
Disadvantages: Large file sizes

Amazing camera for price! Was bought for less than a hundred pounds but hugely outweighs the capabilities of my £400 camera! The way that it focuses so well each and every time is what I love about it. It produces large, crystal clear images and great videos with nice sound. Only downside is it uses Lithium rechargeable batteries but thats not really bad. Just means you have to remove battery to charge. The battery is the same used for a popular ...
...buy. With great pictures comes large file sizes so I would suggest getting atleast a 2gb SD card for it (which are very cheap to buy anyway- in some cases less than a tenna!) which will provide room for about 720 High-Quality pics. Overall, this is a great camera. If you are looking for anything less than a Profesional DSLR camera, this cannot in my opinion be beaten. I would not buy this as a "chuck about" camera as it has a large, vulnerable LCD ... Read review

Best camera I've used
Review of Casio Exilim EX-Z 1080 by andrewxox

Advantages: Fast start up, quick time from photo to photo, amazing quality
Disadvantages: Screen freezes when focusing in

...very pleased when I found casio were thoughtful enough to supply a charger and very good battery with the z1080. Usually I would have to load my pictures into Paint Shop Pro X2 with the C875 to touch them up and try to hide away all of the noise and bring up detail in the photos. I have only tryed this once with the z1080 with a quick photo I taken pretty much carelessly. I couldn't improve the photo at all on Paint Shop one bit, the detail was ...
...I have ever used, the Casio z1080 beats them all hands down, and at a price of £79 you'd think you're dreaming of something. If you are looking for a camera that looks good, compact and easy to use, as well as taking amazing photos that you would expect from a camera that is worth £100 more, take a look at this camera before any other. ...
