Shooting straight in the dark
Review of HP PhotoSmart 850 by boswelox

Advantages: Picture quality, easy handling, great lens
Disadvantages: See review

...on. As it happens, the HP 850 is not universally admired by photography buffs, partly, I suspect, because it isn't made by a 'proper' camera manufacturer, and partly because you can't override all the controls and force it to take really bad pictures. However, to my mind, it offers exactly the right feature set, which is a well thought-out middle path between point-and-shoot and manual override of everything, which is only important if the automatic ...
...hot sellers nowadays... HP have also very sensibly gone to a camera maker (Fuji) for the lens, while they have applied their own expertise to the rest of the camera. The result is that the menus are very clear and intuitive, and almost any of them can be interrupted to shoot a picture simply by pressing the shutter button. The download software is equally straightforward and has the best red-eye removal tool I have seen. The camera isn't perfect, ... Read review

HP Photosmart (My thoughts)
Review of HP PhotoSmart 945 by mogbear1

Advantages: 52 Total Zoom, Easy to use
Disadvantages: Big, Slow to take pictures one after the other

...not for you. The HP Photosmart 945 is a big bulky camera with a good bit of weight in it, which for me was a plus point. When taking this camera out of the box i wondered how i would work it out but thanks to an excellent guide book which explains all you need to know very easily and also includes many easy to follow pictures to get you going. The optical zoom is 8X which gives excellent photo print outs at A4 size (i use HP Photosmart 7150 printer) ...
...connect this camera to your HP printer and print out straight away as well, which i have not used, prefering to transfer the photos onto my pc first. A docking station for this camera is also available. This camera has several modes for photo taking but every aspect can be manually changed including the white balance etc. Included in the automatic modes is a portrait mode which i have found excellent for giving good clear shots of my dogs. Fujifilm FinePix Z100fd AMAZING!
Review of Fujifilm FinePix Z100FD by Gemma1990

Advantages: Stunning photos, looks gorgeous, easy to use
Disadvantages: none :)

I got this camera a few months ago, and i absolutely love it! Not only does it look amazing, but the quality of the pictures are stunning too. The screen on the back is a really good size so you can see clearly what your pics are like. The menu for choosing settings is easy to navigate, but there are so many different settings it takes a while to figure out which one you need! This has to be my favourite camera I've ever had, it's small so it ... Read review

Great camera for price!
Review of Medion MD 85060 by Normankool

Advantages: Uber-Cool picture quality and focus skills
Disadvantages: Large file sizes

Amazing camera for price! Was bought for less than a hundred pounds but hugely outweighs the capabilities of my £400 camera! The way that it focuses so well each and every time is what I love about it. It produces large, crystal clear images and great videos with nice sound. Only downside is it uses Lithium rechargeable batteries but thats not really bad. Just means you have to remove battery to charge. The battery is the same used for a popular ...
...buy. With great pictures comes large file sizes so I would suggest getting atleast a 2gb SD card for it (which are very cheap to buy anyway- in some cases less than a tenna!) which will provide room for about 720 High-Quality pics. Overall, this is a great camera. If you are looking for anything less than a Profesional DSLR camera, this cannot in my opinion be beaten. I would not buy this as a "chuck about" camera as it has a large, vulnerable LCD ... Read review

Best camera I've used
Review of Casio Exilim EX-Z 1080 by andrewxox

Advantages: Fast start up, quick time from photo to photo, amazing quality
Disadvantages: Screen freezes when focusing in

...very pleased when I found casio were thoughtful enough to supply a charger and very good battery with the z1080. Usually I would have to load my pictures into Paint Shop Pro X2 with the C875 to touch them up and try to hide away all of the noise and bring up detail in the photos. I have only tryed this once with the z1080 with a quick photo I taken pretty much carelessly. I couldn't improve the photo at all on Paint Shop one bit, the detail was ...
...I have ever used, the Casio z1080 beats them all hands down, and at a price of £79 you'd think you're dreaming of something. If you are looking for a camera that looks good, compact and easy to use, as well as taking amazing photos that you would expect from a camera that is worth £100 more, take a look at this camera before any other. ...
