I got this camera a few years ago and since then it has been nothing but good. First of all it takes good photos, but it is also quite easy to use but some of the labels on it are quite confusing. Another bad thing is that the lens cover isn't very well designed and breaks quite easily and didn't really stay on much to start with. I bought my Minolta Dimage 7i about 3 years ago, but only started getting really acquainted with it about a year and a half later. I was travelling a lot and I prefer to use film cameras when I travel and for "serious" photographic work, as I provide a couple of Photo Libraries with images, and most of them still prefer slides, although many do accept digital images of high quality and resolution. ...I like that with the Minolta you can switch between LCD and viewfinder dependant on the lighting conditions. I like the camera's somewhat spaceage look and it is easy to grasp it firmly and take a steady shot. However, it is somewhat heavy and carrying it around on holiday eventually made my shoulder sore.
