Can't recommend this fantastic camera enough!
Review of Pentax Optio M40 by Gladallover

Advantages: Plenty of functions, very easy to use. Lightweight
Disadvantages: None that i have discovered!

I have had this camera for a little over 2 months now and it is by far the best camera i have ever owned. I take it everywhere with me and i have captured some brilliant images on it; both still and video clips. It is of a sleek and compact design, and sits nicely in the bottom of my handbag without weighing me down! It is a nice looking camera, and feels like it has a quality build, but without the bulk of a larger camera. It is very simple to use ...
...press of a button. The camera is well designed and the buttons are placed just where you need them for optimum ease of use. The basic functions are easy to master after a quick read of the user manual. Once switched on in picture mode the large 2.5" LCD screen displays a composition square making the perfect photo easier to achieve. The battery life, date, mode, and any other functions (such as macro mode) are also very clearly marked without being ... Read review

A good silver camera
Review of HP PhotoSmart M737 by romybuzzer

Advantages: Takes good pictures
Disadvantages: Lacks an optical viewfinder

I have just bought a HP Camera. Its the Photosmart M737 model and finished in a lovely silver colour. The casing itself is hard plastic but also very lightweight to carry. One thing you will notice thats different is that it lacks an optical viewfinder. Therefore when you are framing pictures, you will need to rely on the bright, clear and very large 2.5 inch colour screen on the rear. It does have a finger lip on the front for steadying pictures ...
...strong carry strap. It takes 2 AA type batteries which means they dont recharge internally as a lot of modern cameras do. A set of batteries seem to last around 100 average type pictures. I do like the high range optical zoom that is able to focus in on very close objects as well as distant objects. The resolution does not seem to drop off. My husband has a similar camera with identical Megapixels (8 on both cameras) yet this seems to zoom much ... Read review

Samsung Digimax s800
Review of Samsung Digimax S800 by 01wojtowicz

Advantages: Very good quality, good value, easy to use but with more advanced options
Disadvantages: batteries can run out quickly, no viewfinder

This is a good quality camera that doesn't cost a huge amount of money. You can just point and shoot or use more options to take more advanced photographs. The camera looks good, mine has a back body with a silver border and lens and a blue finish on the front. (you can get it in a white/silver colour.) the battery compartment area is pushed out slightly to make the camera easier to hold and this has a leather style pattern on the front. The camera ...
...colour screen is very good quality so soon you get used to just using the screen, occasionally I feel that a viewfinder could be useful though. There is a sunken power button at the top of the camera and next to this is a small light that indicates whether the camera is on or not. Next to this there is a wheel that is used to change the camera modes. The modes are: Auto - this is used for standard point and shoot and it chooses the options to use ... Read review

Snap happy with the Pentax Optio E40
Review of Pentax Optio E40 by teppanyaki

Advantages: attractive, reasonably priced, light and portable, ease of use, multiple functions, large LCD display window,
Disadvantages: maybe just not as good as the top of the range flashy brands?

Digital cameras are getting cheaper and cheaper these days, and this snazzy machine fits nicely in the "affordable" end of the budget without being too cheap, or too flashy. Reasonably priced, and fantastic value considering the quality of the camera itself. With a massive 8.1 megapixels, the quality of the photos is exceptional, allowing you to take really detailed snaps of anything that takes your fancy. A whopping 13 settings (not to mention the ...
...to whatever situation. There's even a "flower" setting - take pictures of multi-coloured and textured flowers and it's almost guaranteed that you'll keep all of the detail that you can see with the naked eye. It's light and portable, very eary to use, and beginners and intermediates alike can ask for nothing more from a basic daily use digital camera. ... Read review

Pictures are fantastic.
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE C875 by cooldude28

Advantages: Large but fiull of features!
Disadvantages: None to note

This camera is great! The pictures are just great! Most cameras are good quality, you can pick up a 3 megapixel camera anywhere, but with over 7 megaixels, you cannot go wrong. It is over £120 to buy, but I guarentee you, you will not be dissapointed with your purchase. Easy to use, and kids find it fun to take pictures. Different types of pictures, including black and white, sepia, and more. You can upload them to the computer to save space on ... Read review
