Strange story of the slowly disappointing camera
Review of Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z500 by jhibbs

Advantages: great when you first get it
Disadvantages: you are ready for a new one after 3-6 months

...I will give this Casio satisfactory, and the benefit of the doubt - maybe I had a bad one. If you want crazily complex features (that you will never use) in a small camera with 'ok at the time' pic quality and a startup time that is only just a little bit too long, choose this.. If you really need all the features it gives you, you are probably a professional who wouldn't look at this camera anyway! CASIO! Study Nikon's auto scenario modes and copy ... Read review

Review of Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z110 by haji4746

Advantages: Great Picture Quality & Video Recording
Disadvantages: LCD display not as sharp as pictures

I bought this camera for my brother's birthday a few weeks ago but I had the pleasure of using it for a weekend away before I handed it over to him. It is a good looking little camera which is affordable and well constructed (i.e., it doesn't feel like it's gonna fall to pieces in your hands, like some other products I have had!) packed full of features, some I will probably never or rarely use, but its good that they are there! The camera itself ...
...a 512MB memory card and a carry case. I would recommend buying a memory card as the camera's internal memory is only 32MB probably enough for about 20 or 30 photos; an annoying downside with most cameras, no doubt design to make you spend more money for the extra capacity! Having said that, it is extremely good value. It is 6MP which is more than enough for most users. Photos come out very sharp and clear. The camera has a zoom function to take ... Read review

The perfect party camera, and more...
Review of Casio EXILIM CARD EX-S600 by phoen1x

Advantages: Small, Pocket sized, Fast, Quality for a compact
Disadvantages: Possibly lack of manual settings

I bought the camera in summer 2006 on the recommendation of a shop assistant, and I have been very pleased with the purchase. Compact, stylish yet retaining quality in picture taking, the S600 has to be up there with the best compact cameras around. For those who want a camera to easily take to parties, this does the trick. Being a university student I am constantly taking pictures of nights out, and it is very easy to simply slip the camera into ...
...you think that, because it is compact, this camera is only for party usage, I also took this camera with me to the Lake District in September, and up the 10 highest mountains in England without any kind of problems, and got some incredible photos out of it along the way. The BESTSHOT features also come in useful, both for novelty value, because everyone likes some fun features to play about with, turning your friends sepia and all that, but also ... Read review

First Digital Camera
Review of Casio EXILIM EX Z50 by adz313

Advantages: long battery, viewfinder, good sized screen, quick shutter
Disadvantages: charging needs a dock, no case, intstruction manual limited

although not the first digital camera i had used, this was my first own digital camera. i have had it for nearly 2 years i think, and i have been very impressed with it for the whole time. it has been on 4 holidays and has laste the battering my electrical equipment generally gets. the camera itself is fairly small, with a good 2 inch display and also a viewfinder for sunny days (something most digital cameras of its size don't have anymore). the ...
...with or without sound, sound clips, snapshots, and then a wide variety of 'best shots' which include many settings for all kinds of photos. with a high shutter speed and a good 3x optical zoom, the camera takes impressive photos and has a long battery life. the battery is the only issue i have with it, to charge you need to put it in the dock, not ideal for taking on holiday. although it doesn't come with a case, they are easy to find, at a cheap ...
