I bought this camera 3 months ago asa I was looking for a good picture quality digital camera at a very chap price and I found the perfect camera for my needs. OK it doesn't habe a flash but as it has auto exposure you can stil take pictures in low light and they will come out and the software that it comes with can enhance them enough to get very good quality pictures. The video recording on the DV3000 is nat the best in the world. In natrual light (outside) the camera can see everything you can but inside the colours tend to go into a orange/red blur. It has three diffrent video modes, OK quality, GOOD quality and NIGHT mode. OK quality mode is great for recording things like bike riding and things that don't move very fast. But when you record things that tend to go faster than 15mph then the camera can keep ...
...somtimes the lense can't see it because it is going to fast. One good thing about this is that you can record for about 15 minutes at one time. GOOD quality mode is the best mode on the camera as it uses 3.1 mega pixels. In this mode you can record things like F1 car races and skiing, basicly just things that go more than 15mph. I bought this camera this year and I was a bit sceptical, how could such a small thing hold a) any good amount of pictures and b)pictures of any good quality. But I was pleasantly surprised when i downloaded the pictures onto the computer and they were excellent quality, the cd was easy to use and there are so few buttons you can't go wrong. It also has a web camera feature which allows you to see the other person as you are talking to them on msn ...
...has a nice little chord to go around your neck and clip on to the camera so you don't lose it. Excellent Value! I think for the amount of money you pay for the camera then I think it is worth it , maybe as an ideal gift for a boyfriend or girlfriend.
