not bad, but not good either
Review of Trust SpyC@m 100 by duck1979

Advantages: comes in handy sometimes, can take many pictures on it
Disadvantages: low image quality, if batteries die.... so do your pictures stored on it.

I've had one of these since around 2000 / 2001 I think - cost me about £40 off Maplin Electronics, and was more of an impulse purchase while doing some christmas shopping on their website (I think was on special offer or something.... spend so much, get the SpyC@M at reduced price). At around 0.1 - 0.3megapixels (somewhere around there), you can probably imagine the image quality isn't that great..... it's sometimes possible to pull off SOME decent ...
...just right - so I guess it's best to think of it as a webcam you can carry around with you. Installing it is pretty straightforward windows proceedure - stick in the CD-ROM with the drivers and software, follow the instructions, restart computer, hook the camera up to the PC via the USB cable supplied. Whatever you do, DO NOT TAKE ANY PICTURES WITH THE CAMERA BEFORE YOU'VE INSTALLED THE DRIVERS FOR THE CAMERA - if you do this, you'll find they've ... Read review

Quite a Snap
Review of Trust SpyC@m 300 by Starseeker1

Advantages: Handy, Slinky and Easy to Use
Disadvantages: Lack of Features and picture quality

I bought this camera from Ethel Austins, about a year ago, and I only paid about £10.00 for it. It looked really good on the shelf, and I thought that it was worth buying; mainly because it was really reasonably priced, the other reason was because it looked really cool. I got the camera home, and read through the manual; which I must add is very limited. I was expecting to have to read lots of instructions before I could use the camera properely. ...
...this camera, I was left only to assume that no real instructions were needed. (I was right!) On saying all this though, the camera itself is well worth buying, due to the fact that it is very handy and is really easy to use. You can take it almost anywhere with you, and it is possible to just point and shoot, at the click of a button. There is a square lcd display on the back of the camera, so you can see what feature you are using. The camera also ... Read review

A decent all-rounder
Review of Trust 732AV LCD Power Video by Headdy

Advantages: takes CompactFlash memory; works right out of the box
Disadvantages: video features; rather short battery life; focusing problems; does not work under low light; slow startup time

...35mm and novelty camera, the Trust 732AV came up and I thought it would be a good introduction to digital photography. So, what does it do? It obviously takes pictures, for one. The minimum size for pictures is 1280x1024 which is huge, and it goes all the way up to 2048x1536. You can choose between standard and fine quality, the latter producing clearer photos by way of software sampling. There is also the ability to zoom between 1x and 2x, and ...
...to my previous review, the Trust 732V DOES record video with sound), as well as sound on its own. Recorded videos can be exported to a television set for recording via a supplied cable. Finally the camera can be plugged directly into a computer via USB, acting as a portable drive, and doubles as a webcam. The camera comes with 32MB of CompactFlash memory, which can of course be upgraded inexpensively (the upper limit is specified by the manual ... Read review

I love my little trust camera
Review of Trust 350FS PowerC@m Flash by iona5

Advantages: easy to use and cheap as chips
Disadvantages: doesn't like heat, quality of snaps vary

I've had my trust 350fs for about a year & a half. I've had several low cost cameras's in the past & this one is the best of the lot. I've managed to take some really good picture with this camera. It has two settings - a "close up" one (picture of a flower setting) where you can get some really professional looking close ups - I've impressed the family with some pictures of the garden over the seasons, spiders webs glowing in the sun & clear details ...
...walk I often carry my trust digicam with me as it fits comfortably in the hand (while the dog lead is in the other) I've got some nice picture of my local green looking like something out of a Monet painting - I keep the color setting on "cloudy" no matter what the weather, and get some lovely results. When I do my family tree hunting with the mother I always bring my trust camera & tend to get some of the best shots using it. ... Read review
