I have just purchased the Sony DSC-T300 here in Australia. I paid $A470 for it over here, and have been impressed with several points about it so far. These include the elegant design - I like the fact that mine is a snazzy red colour, as I invariably mislay things by accident. The red makes it more visible to find as well as looking stylish. The 3.5 inch screen is delightful after my previous digital cameras. How could I have existed without it ...
...but then I learnt that Sony has allowed for that. You can buy an accessory screen protector, as well as a line of coloured carry cases to suit your colour preference. This machine will be your best friend. Especially if you don't have a mobile that take photos. You can carry with you easy cause to the small size. Perfect image colours for the daylight photos but not the same for the night especially if you try to take photo people further than 2 meters due to the week flash. Tip for nights photos don't use the flash. Press the button for photo and wait . Try this to take photo a town from above at night. ...a normal photo is easy to do, with good qualtiy photos, and a very good zoom. The video feature on the cmaera works very well, and unlike other cameras that I have used before, there is a good sound quality that comes with them.
