Review of Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z3 by

Advantages: Great lens, light, fast, grip and features.
Disadvantages: Build quality, lack of support...
I bought this camera because I was looking for a mid range point and shoot that was fast enough to capture my interest in motorsport and offer me the options of a more advanced camera for other situtations.
Overall I have to say that for what I wanted this camera has given me what I need but it hasn't been without its problems. The good bits first, I like motorsport and this camera has a very quick start up and some good sport shooting modes which ... ...the picture quality is good but suffers the usual grainy look when shooting in the dark although the flash is pretty effective in an average room, I would guess up to 6 metres. The lens is great with a quick zoom and image stablisers that work pretty well at all but the longest zoom. I particularly like the SLR type grip and all the necessary buttons are within easy reach. The screen is pretty good but use of the digital view finder leaves much to ...

Very good Intermediate Camera for bargain price
Review of Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z2 by
wailor
Advantages: Sharp images, full manual controls, excellent value for money
Disadvantages: Bulky, cannot be used as webcam, need tripod when using full zoom
I bought a refurbished unit from Jessops for just over £100. Have had absolutely no problems with it and it takes sharp shots. You can use automatic settings or use any of the preset settings to take shots and even use the fully manual settings to get the right shot. It not being an slr in the full sense of the word, it sure is close to one. It may take a bit of time to get used to it afterall, there are so many settings which they've tried to tuck ... ...need a tripod when taking shots using the full zoom as it is difficult to get a sharp shot at such level of zoom power. 10x zoom is no joke. It's really powerful. The Flash is excellent and has a rather good range and takes some really nice shots at night with a tweak of the settings. It also has a wide angle, bracketting and multishot settings. You can also chose between 4 picture sizes and enable the digital zoom as well (which I hardly ever need).

Minolta DiMAGE Xt
Review of Minolta DiMAGE Xt by
astoupp
Advantages: Daylight photos and battery
Disadvantages: Night photos
This machine will be your best friend. Especially if you don't have a mobile that take photos. You can carry with you easy cause to the small size. Perfect image colours for the daylight photos but not the same for the night especially if you try to take photo people further than 2 meters due to the week flash.
The battery last longer than other cameras cause the optical zoom is internal (Minolta pattern) and the LCD screen at the back is small(less ... ...that last with less money is a good selection. Definitely there are better cameras with better night photos. But is difficult to find any camera to take photos at night. Tip for nights photos don't use the flash. Press the button for photo and wait . Try this to take photo a town from above at night. It needs 30 second to take a photo like that but the result is perfect. Have fun. ...

Definately recommended
Review of Samsung Digimax S700 by
SoppySista
Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Too many features to explore
...buying iot to replace another Samsung one that broke after dropping it a few too many times. This one seems to be slightly sturdier, and unlike many camera now, it is not too thin and delicate that you think that you will break it. The screen is quite big, so you can see the pictures quite clearly before loading them onto the computer, and also you havw the facility to crop your photos when looking at them on the screen. There are many features on ... ...a normal photo is easy to do, with good qualtiy photos, and a very good zoom. The video feature on the cmaera works very well, and unlike other cameras that I have used before, there is a good sound quality that comes with them. Only thing I would say is that they do take up a lot of space on your memory card.I would recommend buying this camera, especially for somebody that wants good quality photos for a reasonable price, and without too much hassle. ...

Olympus FE-310
Review of Olympus FE-310 by
little_un1988
Advantages: good quality photos,
Disadvantages: Not too great for detailed zoomed in photography
...easy to use computer software. Olympus also offer excellent customer service as I dropped mine onto a concrete floor and they quickly repaired it (paying for all posting and packaging) and got it back to me with a couple of weeks. The camera is easy to use and switch between modes and has many different setting for different environments. Good quality flash and the zoom can be used from relatively long diatnces away from the subject. Its also allows ...
