Sony CyberShot DSC-T3
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T3 by Feijoa78

Advantages: Easy to Use, Slim line for pockets, Just brilliant
Disadvantages: Honestly none that I can think off

I bought this camera while on holiday and I just launched straight in and off I went... I love taking photo's and I have found the quality of photos and video is amazing for the size, it takes beautiful black & white and sepia photos and the sound quality on the video is pretty impressive. I liked the fact I could fit it in a small handbag very easily or in a jacket pocket without looking any bigger then a cell phone. Photos are easy to download ... Read review

A decent camera
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T9 by willi287

Advantages: Ultra Compact and looks great
Disadvantages: Bad in low light

:: Background :: I recieved this camera as a present. I was very interested in it and my girlfriend soon caught wind of this. She paid £230 for it imported from America which included customs tax. This review is for the casual or ameteur photographer. My views on this review come as a casual photographer with the need for photos for general use such as parties and web graphics to holiday snaps. :: The Package :: Upon opening the box the contents ...
...A battery inc charger, Documentations and instructions, PC connection cables. The camera does not include a memory card but does come equipped with internal memory (58mb, about 20 hi-res images), but there is a expansion slot for a memory stick duo ( I bought a 2gb one from eBay for £15, which is an amazing deal. Camera shops still sell 256mb ones for £40!) The battery life of the camera isn't that great for a compact. If you are planning on taking ... Read review

A great starter camera
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE C663 by choccogirl75

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: doesn't look as sharp as some other cameras

...cameras for holidays (an older kodak and a canon) and decided it was time to invest in my own. Although it doesn't look as smart or slimline as some others like Sony its size does make it easier to use as you can get a good grip on it which means you take better pictures and you don't drop it! Its great for people who have limited use of their hands, my mum has arthritis and can work this one easily. Is also great because as you change features using ...
...screen, great if your eyesight is poor as the images on the wheel are small and if you can't remember what they all represent. The screen is a decent size, 2.5 inches on the diagonal- not as big as on Sony but you can see everything you need to and also use it to view your pictures comfortably afterwards. You can choose the picture quality you want (up to 6 megapixels) and can do all the normal things like on any other digital camera like blank and ... Read review

Sony Mavica CD500
Review of Sony Mavica MVC CD500 by LavenderJack

Advantages: Excellent macro, good photo in all lighting conditions
Disadvantages: Bulky (by today's standards), expensive to buy

I've owned this camera for about four years. I bought it after reviewing other cameras in the same price bracket and although the first company I tried to buy it from told me it would be too heavy for a woman (it weighs about 1.5 lbs) I was going from a non-digital SLR that was much heavier. I have never regretted my decision to buy it. The functions are easy to understand and the convenient storage on a CD-RW makes transfer to the computer very ...
...very close photo of flower is a piece of cake. The results are truly professional. It will take a good photo in all light conditions with or without the flash and for really dark situations it has a projected light grid that shows where the centre of the screen is. I would thoroughly recommend it. ... Read review
